Once Upon a Time 5.03 Siege Perilous

Once Upon a Time 5.03 Siege Perilous
Finding out Camelot has a secret motive gives me so much hope that Emma's decision to go dark was provoked. I'm hoping she reveals a bit of her downward spiral. We see her determination to take Excalibur, but she's letting her relationships with Henry and Killian suffer.

David and Snow are blinded by their love and are taking too much of a backseat. David is working too closely with Arthur (as we now know is a lost cause) but they should really be concerned with Emma's dark powers growing within her.

Regina looks like she's controlling all aspects of the situation. I think she's taking things too far in concerns of Zelena and her unborn baby. I'd like to think she would have a better moral compass after becoming a hero in all of this. Separating a parent unwillingly from their child is one of the worst things a human can do. I disapprove this and I'd like for her to remember her emotions when she thought Emma was taking Henry from her.

Heroes Reborn 1.04, Reign 3.01

Heroes Reborn 1.04 The Needs of the Many
I like the change in Luke's character. I was hoping he'd flip on his choice and grow a conscious and a pair to hold his own. His wife is too hard for him to handle. She's unstable and can't picture her bully him into murdering other Evos. I hope the separation is permanent. Luke can concentrate on finding other people to help out and Joanne can be destructive elsewhere.

Tough stuff, I'm bored of Miko and Ren now =/. There's way too many character stories to follow along. I understand Miko's importance, especially with the samurai sword being rightfully hers. It's just taking far too long to develop her importance.

Once again, poor Tommy can't catch a break. The accident is major and his mom needs to make it through. I hope he gets out of this one, but he's stronger with Emily on his team. It seems to be a repetition from the original Heroes where there's always an Evo and human together. This is the team that I have faith in. They may be young, but I hope they're not as naive as the rest of the characters we've seen.

Now in Los Angeles we see Dearing capture the priest. I don't understand what his end game is, or who he works for. I'm not sure it's her Erica. She keeps a lot of her Evo employees close, not so much on the field to do their own searches.

Wow, I'm surprised Molly Walker did something selfless. I wonder what location she's been protecting this whole time. It could have been the Evo in the very end of the episode.

Reign 3.01 Three Queens, Two Tigers
Awesome. We kick off the season with Francis and Mary back together. I'm glad Francis admits he's dying though. It shows he's choosing his illegitimate son, Mary and his country ahead of everything. I'm not sure how long Catherine will be banned for. She seems to be making great friends with Elizabeth, but we'll see how the plot thickens along the way.

I wonder if Elizabeth will get her way with having her lover on the side. Catherine is pretty supportive in her political reign, but obviously it's to secure her survival.

Why is Charles so big?! He's young, but I thought he was younger than Francis. They always age them like crazy on TV haha

Lola and Greer are getting pretty good side stories this season, better than Bash's present situation. The writers keep skimming on Bash lately, I hope he gets something proper.

Arrow 4.01 Green Arrow

Arrow 4.01 Green Arrow
So it looks like Felicity and Oliver are pulled back in the game. He really enjoyed life away from Starling City, but I feel he's really pushing himself. His heart is indifferent but his brain tells him where he needs to be. I'm pretty positive if Thea wasn't a factor, he'd never return.

Felicity misses her friends, so she can't keep away from them all. Laurel looks like she's upped her game a bit by taking a predominant role with the team. Diggle is more forward, but he's definitely note automatic friends with Oliver. It's way too early, even though his wife forgave everything Oliver did with the hostage incident.

That ending was everything. Barry shows up and apologizes for not being present for the funeral. It had to be Felicity's tombstone! I wonder if Oliver never got a chance to marry her. He hid the ring in "present time" in a bowl of rocks on their side table. The flash forward indicates he's not getting a happy ending in all of this. Barry's wonderful, and the only reason why I parallel Arrow and The Flash side by side.

The Flash 2.01, Limitless 1.03

The Flash 2.01 The Man Who Saved Central City
Looks like Barry starts off with blaming himself for what happened at the end of last season. Ronnie's lost in the vortex and he doesn't feel he deserves the key to the city for his bravery.

Caitlin shouldn't be separate from S.T.A.R. labs, I forbid this! Her spot is better with the team than Iris. She's just a journalist mourning her ex-boyfriend Eddie. I feel she isn't healthy for Barry's well being. She knows Barry always had feelings for her, but she ignored and friend-zoned him the entire time.

The rebel character was a weak one tonight, since this premiere was more dialogue/emotional based. Jay Garrick arriving at the end was a lot of fun though! I wonder what news he has for Barry and the team.

Limitless 1.03 The Legend of Marcos Ramos
I can't get over how Brian hustled the entire floor for information on their crooked boss haha Probably the best part of the episode.

Seeing his interaction with his ex-girlfriend Shauna finally showed what his past used to be. It's too bad she couldn't stick around, but the warning from Bradley Cooper's and company was a huge threat. Speaking of which, it really looks like the stay-at-home nurse knows more than she's lead on this whole time. She knows Brian's body will eventually shut down. She also knows to categorize herself as a number. It's not like Brian can rely on her for the truth, but she is taking care of his father's health. I'm hoping she can eventually help him if it comes down to a moral decision.

Once Upon a Time 5.02, Blood & Oil 1.02

Once Upon a Time 5.02 The Price
Okay, why is Emma Swan keeping the entire time frame in Camelot a secret? I understand maybe hiding it from everybody else, but Killian should be open to it. He's always seen her side, even been a villain himself.

I wonder if she'll ever connect Excalibur properly. If she can do it, maybe that's what the warning from her flashback piece in last week's episode was about. I think she will be "lost" to the darkness if she connects the dagger to the sword. She still has feelings and a conscience; it was evident when she watched everyone in Granny's diner. In the beginning with Henry, their conversation still had meaning despite being empty. Excalibur becoming whole may mean so will her power.

Hope next week I get something more active.

Blood & Oil 1.02 The Ripple Effect
I see a little bit more character development in this episode. There's a lot of petty arguing between Billy and Cody, and they're only getting worst. If this is how the entire show will carry out, I don't think I'll want to see an angry couple go at each other's throats.

Why in the world would Billy go to the garage crime scene as well? I know he was involved with the fight, but it was Hap Briggs' oil that was stolen. His son Wick is a total snake and a coward. He's basically the opposite of his half sister. I'm actually liking Lacey's part in this show. It looks like she's successful in California, but she needs a 24 hour watchdog/man-servant while in town. She doesn't take to Darla kindly either, but I guess it's traditional family dynamics. She's somewhat more civil around her stepmother than Wick is. Wick and Darla have a total disregard for each other and it all comes down to money problems.

Heroes Reborn 1.03 Under the Mask

Heroes Reborn 1.03 Under the Mask
At long last, Dylan Bruce is back on my television! So are a couple more actors from Rookie Blue :D, but I looked forward to Bruce's appearance ever since he made the announcement in an Orphan Black interview. Also, I knew Captain James Dearing needed special abilities. I have a feeling his story had more layers to it. Similar to Luke Collins, he's unsure where he stands at the moment with being an assassin.

Luke and his wife Joanne are on an angry killing spree because of what happened to their son. We can see Luke turning hesitant, whereas Joanne needs closure in acting out the way she does. As soon as Noah's car stopped after the spark in his fingers hit the radio, it was obvious. I wonder if he will hide this from his wife or if he will seek help from the same people he tried to wipe out. He's supposed to head to Los Angeles, maybe the underground people can help save him.

Hoping the story moves along past Molly Walker. It gets old (at least it does to me) using the "tracking device" story once again. I wonder what happened between her and Matt Parkman. I know Matt returned to his family in the final season, but Molly must be alone after Mohinder passed at the start of this season. Another thing I've noticed is all the abilities this time around are simpler. More people can fly or have super strength nowadays. Nothing extraordinary or unique as the original Heroes where someone could be specifically identified.

Limitless 1.02 Badge! Gun!

<i>Limitless 1.02 Badge! Gun!</i>
Okay it looks like Bradley Cooper's people are making sure Brian keeps his mouth shut about being immune to the NZT drug side effects. I wonder if keeping Brian's father with the stay-at-home nurse in all of this will be the coin toss between staying under with the FBI and continuing an addiction to the drug. He knows because of his immunity, he won't crash after taking so many at once.

I can see the writers are setting up character development between Brian and Rebecca. She's watching over him and actually vouched for his "FBI badge" in the end of the episode. She's probably holding his abilities the closest with the situation of her father. I wonder if Senator Eddie Mora (Bradley Cooper) becomes tied to her father's death. Rebecca explained he was full of hope the last day she saw her, with the traces of the NZT drug in him. Maybe he was the experiment before his body gave in.

It's moving slowly but I like the comedic appeal Brian brings to the show.

Once Upon a Time 5.01, Blood & Oil 1.01

<i>Once Upon a Time 5.01 The Dark Swan</i>
Emma Swan isn't good at playing an evil person. She's better as the saviour, not because that's how we're used to it but she REALLY doesn't play a bad person well. I hope by mid-season, we've resolved having her go dark side. Since the end of Excalibur is the dagger, the connection should be simple to make her a hero once more.

It looks like Zelena hasn't changed her ways either, so this should keep everything interesting.

I can't wait to see what happens in Camelot when we meet Merlin. I like when the writers have a specific setting for a good few episodes. It keeps the consistency and we get to meet a lot of fun characters. I think I'm also excited because Meghan Ory returns as Ruby this season.

<i>Blood & Oil 1.01 Pilot</i>
I was pretty disappointed with this premiere and hoped for something more. The only thing that caught my attention were the last five minutes. Everything else was back and forth with the main couple needing a loan, jobs to make money and saving up for the baby they're expecting. Basically all they did was borrow from everyone and make a bunch of deals through word of mouth.

Limitless 1.01 Pilot

<i>Limitless 1.01 Pilot</i>
I'm surprised I decided to tune in to this show judging by the limited amount of previews, but it turned out interesting! Set in New York (as are most popular shows are) the concept of an average guy Brian Finch suddenly obtains a remarkable memory. The producers made him relatable to anyone who feels they've contemplated their life decisions and career choices. It makes the protagonist likeable and similar to any mid to late twenty-something adult today.

We warm up to Brian Finch's character easily, especially since everyone knows what it's like to be <i>human</i> and not know what happens after letting some time pass you by. We see him cross paths with an old friend, which decides to do him a favour in getting ahead.

We later find out he takes this counterfeit street drug 'NZT', which mainly enhances his brain activity and ability to retain information. It burns himself out just as easily, but it looks like the skeleton of the story throughout the show. There's a lot of intertwining involved with the drug, but it appears to be underground funds for this drug to be a success.

I'm excited Hill Harper and Jennifer Carpenter have a new show. With Bradley Cooper's cameo, I wonder if he'll be a regular since he's such a high profile actor. I'll see how the rest of this show turns out as the season goes along.

Heroes Reborn 1.01 Awakening, 1.02 Odessa

I'm so happy the Toronto International Film Festival added primetime television as a category to the festival this year! I've been looking forward to Heroes Reborn ever since I found out Tim Kring was doing a reboot of his original series. I've been a fan of the Heroes series since first season, which was back when I was in my final year of high school. Also, knowing the producers aged a few of the original characters for this reboot allows us to easily follow the storyline.

My sister and I went to the world premiere at the Elgin & Winter Garden Theatre last night, which was a packed house. I always enjoy the Winter Garden theatre mainly for its ethereal interior =) Now on to my review!

Heroes Reborn 1.01 Awakening, 1.02 Odessa
We get introduced to a lot of new characters, both taking sides as heroes and villains. We quickly see not much has changed in the world from the original series except for the time passed and those with special abilities are in hiding. Since "coming out" to the world they are super human, everybody feared change.

I like this idea so much since it is applicable today. People fear what they don't understand, so naturally this will take the series into another Us VS Them situation (in addition to the heroes and villains).  It's a classic theme, one you can't go wrong with. Tim Kring I have so much faith in you!

Kicking off with this setting, we see a lot of people aren't pleased Evos (the label of choice for these humans) exist at all. They feel threatened and even made it illegal for them to roam free to live in peace. I have no idea how they'll be able to organize against this, but I have a feeling Noah 'HRG' Bennett will help out.

We meet a priest and a select few, in Los Angeles, who have an underground organization helping the Evos escape. Depending on how successful we see their outcome, it may put a huge target on their lives.

We also meet a girl named Miko in Japan who may be the most powerful newcomer. We don't know much about her history, only that she's able to digitally move into a popular video game with her dad's katana sword. I already have a theory on her, but it may be wishful thinking of how I've admired this show for 10 years.

Finally, easily one of my favourite characters is Tommy, played by Robbie Kay (Once Upon a Time). He's the protagonist you grow to sympathize and relate to in the times of living on the run. He's trying to adapt as best as he can without letting his ability to give him away. Since it gets out of control, that's where he leaves a trail of bread crumbs behind.

In the final moments of the premiere, we meet our beloved Molly Walker, played by Francesca Eastwood. She symbolizes all the time that's passed and how bad things have gotten. I was particularly excited to see Peter Mooney (Rookie Blue) make an appearance as one of the bad guys. I have a feeling there's a price for Molly's ability, so this may mean there's an organization of the rogue Evos as well? If that's true, they're certainly ahead of the game.

There's so much I want to say without spoiling the first two episodes, but I am liking the direction Tim Kring has taken this show.

Two days in London

My arrival to London was actually my third time in the city. I decided to do all the tourist related stuff I didn't get to do in the past which included a River Thames cruise and riding the London eye ferris wheel. Also, since the last time I was in London back in 2012, The Shard building wasn't built yet. It would've been nice to go in, but It was fascinating to see along the river cruise.

Everything else below were mainly do-overs (I.e.: Tower of London, City Hall, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, City Hall, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Millennium Bridge, Waterloo Bridge, Buckingham Palace, High Park) but always good fun when taking pictures in places where the only thing that has changed is you =)

Love all the sights I got to see, including the Changing of the Guard ceremony outside Buckingham Palace. This was a real treat because this is the second time I got to see the ceremony and it really is fun to see a well practiced routine which occur at specific times.

Take That Live 2015 Tour (with Ella Henderson) at The O2, June 9th 2015

I can't believe a month ago today, I saw one of my longtime favourite pop bands at The O2; an arena I've always wanted to visit for a show. I've been outside The O2 twice in previous years before, but this is the first time I bought a ticket for a performance =) To say it lived up to my expectations is an understatement. This was my first evening of my travels flying out of Toronto and into London. I was severely sleep deprived due to the nature of working straight shifts, including the day of my flight. It all worked out since it kept my body awake to the timezone.

The concert was phenomenal and Ella Henderson did a wonderful job! All of her songs from her opener, except "Ghost", were something new for me to hear. It's nice she also takes part in writing some of her material. I wish her album was available at the souvenir section, but that's why Steve Jobs created iTunes ;). Her voice is versatile, and most solo singers with natural talent rarely get good songs to showcase their sound. I really did admire her vocals and hope she's able to come over to Canada in the near future.

set list:
Glow
Pieces
Mirror Man
Empire
Yours
Rockets
Billie Holiday
Ghosts

I have two Take That tour DVDs; Beautiful World Tour, my sister's favourite since it was the comeback and Circus Tour, which is my favourite because it's the last one with all four of them before Robbie Williams ruined everything.

The set for this tour was diverse, even though this is the only tour I've seen live. A lot of what was incorporated was inspired from previous music videos and live performances. The buskers who opened after Ella wore the outfits from memorable songs ranging from the early 90's into the present. It was a good tribute, especially since it's now three members remaining (I hate you Robbie Williams; you could've left in peace but you had to take Jason Orange down as well).

Once again, there's a lot I liked about the set; "Shine" was performed in its original format with the sparkles and suits, "The Garden" was an underwater experience, "Relight My Fire" used fans as a part of rhythm in choreography and "Back for Good" was done on stools! Mark made a point after introducing the rest of the band it was their second night at The O2 and this would be their second time officially performing in the original form, sitting on stools. I honestly can't wait until the tour DVD comes out. I saw posters all over Belfast and Dublin that a live telecast would happen in the theatres June 19 of Take That at the O2, so I'm hoping they use it for their tour DVD!

set list:
I Like It
Love Love
Greatest Day
Get Ready For It
Hold Up a Light
Patience
The Garden
Up All Night
Said It All
Could It Be Magic
Let in the Sun
Affirmation
The Flood
Flaws
Relight My Fire
Back for Good
Pray
Portrait
These Days
Rule the World

Never Forget

Side note: Right when I entered the O2, I circled around to our gate and saw Donovan their drummer walking in my direction before the show! I wanted to give him a hello but his cellphone rang. My friend thought I was crazy until the mid-way through the show Gary, Howard and Mark introduced the band members one by one and she saw Don's face on the jumbo screen. Yep, NOT crazy!

I'll organize the remainder of my trip in entries mainly by day. Of course, people will like to see more pictures than text, so I'll work on that as well! I now end this with the lovely Mexican food I ate outside The O2 before the show =)

Travel updates!

Yikes! I know its been a month since I've posted, but all for good reason! I just got back from travelling the last few weeks in Ireland, Wales and England. I meant to write a quick blurb of my absence before I left, but I thought it would be a good idea to work straight shifts up until my flight (I actually don't recommend it. I did a full opening shift the day I flew out and didn't get any sleep until my second night abroad).

I'll talk about my journey in the next few entries as well as the concert I attended at The O2 Arena :) I'll be splitting them up (of course) because there's just so much I want to say and I want to include my pictures to give my entries some justice.

The Script's No Sound Without Silence Tour (with Colton Avery and Mary Lambert) at Massey Hall

I got to see The Script last night and couldn't have been more excited to see them again! There wasn't much promotion for their North American tour, especially since I didn't think Canadian dates were included.

I went with my friend Sami, who also was the same person who introduced me to their music way back when their first album was released. Following that, I've been to all four of their Toronto performances to date =)

The opening acts they had were also a nice surprise, especially since they weren't listed on our tickets. They brought along Colton Avery, a small artist they discovered from Phoenix, and Mary Lambert. Both of them did four songs each and they put on a great show. Mary did a bit of her piece from Macklemore's 'Same Love' and I especially enjoyed her slam poetry style song where she expressed society's perception of a women's beauty/body image today. It was very moving and we definitely gave her a standing ovation.

I always have a great time seeing The Script live because they're always fun and passionate about their music. Of course, this time around was better because they finally had new material to perform. In some of their old songs, like 'Nothing', Danny did his usual with calling a fan's ex. This time around, Danny said it was his first time ever calling a female. A fan in the front gave her phone to Danny with Chantel in the caller ID. It was funny to see. Once 'You Won't Feel a Thing' came on, Danny actually came up to centre balcony, where we were seated, and hung out with us for the song! All in all, it was a great concert. The only downfall was this was my first time at Massey Hall. We really wanted our space to dance around but it is an old theatre venue. Can't wait for them to come back to play again!
set list:

The Flash 1.23 Fast Enough

The Flash 1.23 Fast Enough
This was truly a magnificent finale for a fantastic show! There's so much about this show I admire that I find myself not shutting up about it around my dad. He hasn't watched consistent episodes of the series and knows what's going on because I go non-stop about it.

I don't believe Eobard (such a weird name) is fully gone. I know the parallel of Eddie interrupting the timeline with his sacrifice probably means Eobard disappears for now. But Eddie got sucked into the wormhole on his own when all the other pieces of matter vanished as well.

Barry will probably find an answer in the wormhole or he will break another time barrier. I feel he's stronger than he was before, which means he's ready to conquer everything else. I'm actually really excited for Cisco holding a secret ability. I wonder how soon they'll allow him to use his abilities and if it will be shockwaves. It's good to know he too was affected by the particle accelerator but there has to be other meta-humans who haven't reacted as naturally as Barry has in the process.

Pretty bummed that Iris chooses Eddie after the fact he knows he can't be with her. It's a low blow, showing that she didn't pick him as her first choice but still keeps him hanging on to her. He only ever wanted to be a "hero" in all of this, but he isn't remembered publicly the way the Flash is.

It was so emotional having Barry travel back to the night his mother died. There were three Barry Allen's that night; young Barry, our present day Barry, and future Barry. Future Barry actually signalled to our Barry not to step in and save his mother. Let it be and leave the past the way it is. This means future Barry knew all along that another version of him was going to show up all along trying to save his mom. Maybe future Barry knows what life is with his mom alive? Future Barry could have been through numerous time barrier trips where he experienced all options and the first one was always the best way to become the Flash? There's so many possibilities and I see so much potential in this show!

It was heart wrenching to watch him let go of his mom. He held her and cried deeply with the intention of saving her (and his dad from jail) only to let her go and give her a final goodbye. It was appropriate to show this as a closed-case situation to the end of a season. If he ever entertains the idea of saving his mom and changing the past, we have the final answer right here.

There's one part at the very end I found interesting, which was Jay Garrick's helmet! I sense him coming into second season. Maybe he will fall through the wormhole and help Barry in Central City. I will miss this season, but I'm looking forward to what the writers can whip up.

The Following 3.14, 3.15

The Following 3.14 Dead or Alive // 3.15 The Reckoning
It's the end of an era! I'm actually really sad to see this show come to an end as I've heavily supported it since the beginning. With that last scene as the ending, I feel this was wrapped up properly and completed. The ending really signified Joe Carroll's death meant Ryan Hardy's rebirth. Ryan is on top of trying to track the people who came after him, and made the decision to fake his death to save his family. This would have opened an amazing season four, but it looks like they've tied up all loose ends appropriately.

I was absolutely wrong with my presumptions of Gwen. She was a good thing for Ryan all along, and she was never a double agent to his life. She was finally a person someone he could live a normal life with and look forward to.

I'm happy Max was the one to take out Daisy. It was meant to happen since Mike was fighting for his life in the hospital and Ryan was tied up with Theo. Everyone has drawn blood, and I feel Max was the one person who never received justice for anything that's happened to her. Daisy also became insignificant once she separated from Mark last week.

It was pretty trippy to see FBI Lisa working with Eliza just to get ahead in her career. She guaranteed Ryan's life but she also needed Theo's body so she could win a promotion. Crooked cops annoy me so much (I an't wait for Rookie Blue to return this Thursday!) Her storyline was also completed to my satisfaction when Ryan squeezed all the information he could out of her until he had no use for her.

I think I wanted one last piece of Joe Carroll imagery to complete the finale. This show started with Joe and his Edgar Allan Poe worshippers, it ended with a darker and bolder Ryan Hardy. He's a fighter and he cut off the rest of his emotions (Mike and the family) to eliminate anything that may slow him down. Gosh, I really wish this got picked up for a fourth season! It would be such a good concept to see our protagonist turn into the predator for once.

Again, this was a wonderful TV show. I have nothing bad to say about the writers since they were very creative and consistent. A job well done with all the double agents, the satanic cult and just giving the extra edge needed in a suspenseful piece. It's been fantastic time watching The Following, I will miss my Halloween Mondays!

The Night Shift 2.13 Darkest Before Dawn

The Night Shift 2.13 Darkest Before Dawn
These snipers were radical for no apparent reason! This was so annoying, I hate outrage violence like this. It was a public attack on the innocent bystanders, civilians and authority figures. I think it's appropriate to show this type of storyline since today's current events display a lot of injustice based on race and sexuality. The outrage this storyline can bring to the surface is very important.

I didn't think Paul would still be working on the shift with his hand situation. The most important thing is he finally agreed to do the surgery. He's young and can make a better decision now than he would if he was clouded with the direction of where he wants to take his life with the least amount of risks.

Dr. Chavez is back! I like Joey, even with his temporary three month contracts. Hoping season three makes him a permanent character because he's the greatest. He's the one with the calm, relaxing mindset with the right sense of humour to get along with everyone. Totally fighting for him to be on the team under Kenny's watch!

Awesome the ending had Drew and Rick fix their relationship and want to go get married. I'm not sure how common homosexual marriages are in Texas, but it looks like they're quite open and liberal in the San Antonio area. Drew deserves to be happy, especially since he spent most of this season upset over Rick moving out and trying to find his place as an openly gay doctor.

I didn't think T.C. and Topher would return so soon. It's a good thing though since this is the finale, they didn't have them in the sandstorm. I like the way this has played out with T.C. and Jordan's relationship. They did lose the baby, but they can work on themselves this time around. I hope Jordan agrees to his proposal. This couple has jumped through hoops for each other and I'd be disappointed to see them throw in the towel.

Arrow 3.23 My Name Is Oliver Queen

Arrow 3.23 My Name Is Oliver Queen
Hooray Barry Allen to the rescue! I've never been so excited before to see Barry (as you can tell form my enthusiasm, I am team Flash). Speaking of which, they writers for Arrow and The Flash look like they work closely together. In order for the storylines to parallel each other properly, they work the current situations between the shows. This is super helpful since the anticipate how many times a cross over happens.

Does this mean Nyssa needs to fight Merlyn to get leadership of the League? I feel that's what it will come down to, but now Merlyn is a villain with a skillfully trained army. I see this pouring into season four somehow.

Thea gets to be the brand new Arsenal? Well, she gets to jack his costume but gets a new name. It looks like Diggle is the one person who isn't liking all this change. Once again, it's all too much at once, especially with everything that's happened in the last few episodes. Trust is an issue now between Oliver and Diggle, but I hope they can repair this. Felicity chose Oliver now so I wonder how long they can be happy together just staying normal now

Reign 2.22 Burn

Reign 2.22 Burn
I called it last week with the fake baby! I can't believe Mary is such a cold person that could slaughter for the sake of saving her own neck. Then again, it's a world of kill or be killed.

Is it bad that I'm digging Elizabeth? Catherine's been banished and is yielding under her power to get rid of Mary. This is some next level crap. Before the camera panned to Catherine's face, I actually thought it was Mary's mother, the queen mom of Scotland from the back. She was always in dark colours and I felt she would be the one to betray her daughter in order to advance her well being. This looks interesting already.

Crazy Delphine bound herself to Sebastian =O this means neither of them can die without the other. When's the last time anyone heard about a woodland healer with no links to Paganism?

Looks like Kenna is moving on with man-searching and trying to pass off her baby to come as a niece or nephew. She's actually the most desperate of the rest come to think of it. Lola has Francis' protection because of her son, Greer has her independence as a Madame, and Mary is between Scotland and France. Kenna is really fighting tooth and nail to stay in this.

The finale was a bit of a let down, but I did find it better than the recent episodes. I really thought Conde's part in the story was going to end here. It's really complicated while everyone holds their own secret. Francis is dying, this is obvious. I didn't think I'd see Nostradamus again but he is the next thing to a spiritual healer on the castle grounds.  I bet Francis dies in the next season or they're really stretching this way too long.

The Flash 1.22 Rogue Air

The Flash 1.22 Rogue Air
Never expected to be so relieved at seeing Iris on the scene. I like her (and Eddie) again now that the season is coming to a close come next week. Had she not showed up at S.T.A.R. Labs, I think Joe, Cisco and Caitlin could've been in serious danger. I'm also back to being alright with Eddie, seeing that at the end of the day he tells Iris that he can't lie to himself anymore. I find that very little of his decision had to do with the newspaper clipping. It was the tip of the iceberg, but Eddie even said so himself, "there are three people in this relationship." The good thing is they're not mad at Barry, but disappointed in themselves for not seeing things clearly.

I knew Leonard couldn't be trusted. Barry had his arm tied behind his back though since he needed help transporting the prisoners. I was hoping Oliver Queen would help transport the bodies on to the island, but it looks like he was used for the very end of the episode. I guess this means all the meta humans get a free pass for second season. Looks to be kind of a spoiler, but maybe Captain Cold Leonard returns with his sister once again.

Hooray for the Amell cousin cameos! This gets me excited for tomorrow's Arrow finale, this must mean Barry will have a cross over once more with Oliver. It was also nice to see Ronnie again. He looks like he's got better control of his fire powers now with the device on his chest.

Looking forward to next week's finale. The prisoner release was a let down for me, but at least Oliver and Ronnie were able to help Barry capture Wells. The reverse flash better not win this fight.

The Following 3.12, 3.13

The Following 3.12 The Edge // 3.13 A Simple Trade
So much just happened before my eyes! Mark was really at the point of no return and Daisy called in a favour from Theo. They went back and forth on who owes what on their bargain of the deal, but this was the time Tom was used.

Theo and Eliza have the strangest relationship. I don't know what her purpose is, only that she showed up after Theo cracked the coordinates from the book. Is she an undercover player in all of this? It's still unclear and it bugs me.

I was surprised Tom left Erin's body in the apartment. After Daisy and Mark made him plant a USB key in the FBI, this was his chance to finally be a hero and come clean. Instead he followed through and lured Mike into a bad scenario. I don't approve of this two-faced part of him. I can't believe he thought Mark and Daisy were going to let him off easy. He died a quick one and now nobody will ever know he was the one who killed Erin.

Mike getting sold out the way he did wasn't ideal. Way too easy and I'm grateful Ryan went all covert with hiding Penny in his apartment. It came in handy for the switch but once that went downhill, nothing was forgiven.

In the end when Mike admitted his love for Max, it felt a bit rushed with Mark waiting in the shadows before attacking. It looks like Mike got Mark down, but he lost a lot of blood int he parking lot. I'm afraid he may not make it because he's Ryan's right hand man and this is one way you can weaken him easily. Once he's a person down, Max and the rest of the FBI team will follow like dominos.

Bates Motel 3.10 Unconscious

Bates Motel 3.10 Unconscious
Alright, so I know last week's episode was called "Crazy" but that's the only word I can find to describe this finale! What a rollercoaster of a season this has been. So much has happened, and I didn't think all this information with the entire town would take a turn this way. I want to briefly say that this is also the first episode where Norma and Norman's personalities were polar opposite for once. When Norma found out he's leaving, she didn't raise her voice or try to provoke the situation any further. When Norman got avid and tried to hurry himself out, that was the only time Norma took action. Normally, we see Norma with the manic behaviour and Norman kept in the dark with a calm tone.

Romero has been working with the DEA office now to go after Bob Paris, but thankfully Alex diverged along the way. He's way too close to the case and I feel he's too involved all because of his mother's name on the ledger. When he went to Norma's place to apologize, you could see he was genuinely sorry. As much as I want him to come out the hero and winner in this, I find that he's had so much piled on conscious. Getting rid of Bob Paris was the only way he could lift most of that weight. I'm team Romero all the way!

Emma is getting hesitant about receiving new lungs! I don't know why she's second guessing a chance at living a healthy life, but I bet she knows Dylan had something to do with it. I'm glad they've kicked off to a good start and he's convinced her to undergo surgery. This is probably the one good thing that happened in this season finale for one of our leading characters.

I knew Bradley wouldn't make it out of this in one piece. She lost it when she shattered everything in her old house. I found it symbolic how she tried to make a fresh with the one person who helped her get out of town (with the assistance of Dylan), using resources that got her dad killed and ultimately tried to get rid of her. At the very end when Norman's inner subconscious took over and brutally murdered Bradley, I couldn't handle how off the edge he's become.

The ending scene with "Be My Baby" by The Ronette's after Norman decides to stay in White Pine Bay; exquisite. He's going to continue covering up murders and insist he's taking his mother's direction. Unless Norma can get him professional help, this will keep going on. Ending this season with upbeat music was the way to go. It's madness, but I'm still tuning in to watch this serial killer grow into his dark side.

The Night Shift 2.12 Sunrise, Sunshine

The Night Shift 2.12 Sunrise, Sunshine
It's kind of interesting to see Topher express his feelings for once on how him and T.C. are always likely to self-blame themselves on their conscience. It's the BFF brotherly friendship for sure, but they'll always be willing to sacrifice themselves for the other one. It's an endless cycle of their love and respect.

That sniper is angry at everyone in San Antonio. It's as if they're doing target practice for sport. The accident build up made me think maybe one of the patients inside the hospital was the sniper all along, but when the distress call was made and Gwen and her EMT partner went out on the field, it made me look at them as targets. It doesn't make sense, but hopefully we find out what's going on int he next episode.

What's going on with Paul?! I can't believe her threw himself out on the field the way he did. Now his hand is damaged and Krista is the only one who can help keep his secret. This is the rest of his life/career he's depending on. I don't know why he kept it wrapped and trekked through the rest of the shift. He should've listened, I hope Drew and Kenny can help him out.

Poor Scott! He eliminated everything the smart way by paying off the family from the car accident, but this doesn't mean he's going to live stress-free. It doesn't mean he's going to have nightmares of what kind of life the 16 year old is going to live from here on out, but it's supposed to make him feel better about returning to work.

Now I'm freaking out for Jordan. She fainted and it didn't turn out too well. I hope this doesn't cause weaknesses for her baby, but this is a big red flag for T.C. to come back already! Stop playing super G.I. Joe and come home through the storm!

Once Upon a Time 4.22, 4.23

Once Upon a Time 4.22 Operation Mongoose: Part 1 // 4.23 Operation Mongoose: Part 2
This was actually an interesting twist on things! I kind of like the role reversal for villains and heroes to switch places in this format. When we knew the intent was villains to get s a happy ending, I didn't think it would mean they would get the storyline to their opposites. It strays from the happy endings in Storybrooke, but I think this will mean they will have alternative stories.

Making Henry the next author was what I assumed from the beginning! Of course I thought it was an adult Henry from the future, but having multiple authors after their time is done means there can always be more than one. That was very noble of him to snap the quill at the end of the finale. Symbolizes he is worthy and doesn't want anymore harm to come to his family.

Emma is beating me up inside with cocooning all of her emotions for Hook. I feel she is hurting the audience more than she is herself haha! She finally told Killian she loves him in the end after her sacrifice happened *confetti throw* but now there's a new problem at hand. Rumplestilskin's heart is pure and clear, but the darkness swallowed Emma instead.

As the saviour, Emma can see the light if everybody else in town can help her. I wonder what the next season will have in store, but this was actually an amazing twist to it all. Even after all they've been through, I think the writers did a great job with foreshadowing the possibility of Emma's ability to go dark after the mid-season premier. I'm hoping this means the characters can stray away from Storybrooke for real answers, but my assumption is that the apprentice is the best person with answers for the time being.

There's nothing else I can cover about this show that hasn't already been said. I'm hoping for another original storyline to come. With Lily as a new character addition, maybe she can be the best person to seek answers to win her back.

Reign 2.21 The Siege

Reign 2.21 The Siege
I was actually bored with this episode entirely. Sebastian brought in his weird woodland friend Delphine and I'm not sure what her role is going to end up being (other than interrupting Kenna's marriage with him).

Francis putting Lola ahead of his needs was a smart move on his behalf. His priorities never changed, even with the advice of everyone around him. His mom is a constant influence, but I find he's turned into a better person without the use of her manipulation.

I'm interested to see if Lola will actually take Narcisse back, even after the body sketch mishap. He's showing concern for her well being and finds it unfortunate Lola isn't in the mood for reunions. I think he'd be great for her, but his political mindset is always trumping his heart. It's a good defence mechanism using logic over emotion (much more sensible).

I see Claude falling for her knight and protector Leith. Now that Greer shows no interest in building a future with him, that opens up the option of Leith spending more time with Claude. He also did a great job keeping her safe when the castle was under attack.

Conde looks like he's ready to take care of serious business, but he's also doing the talking on his own. No right hand man by his side, just solo. I don't know if he can very well conquer land at all, especially since Elizabeth is pulling his strings, especially since she was the one who kept pushing for marriage. Kidnapping Mary was a weak idea, even for Conde. You can't just hold a queen hostage and expect no penalty.

I had a feeling that was Greer's working ladies all along. They assembled really quick for the army's possible last evening. I don't believe Mary is pregnant. This is way too much at once, and I think this is just a trap!

Arrow 3.22 This Is Your Sword

Arrow 3.22 This Is Your Sword
Haha this canary screech is funny. It's a good thing Cisco was able to do something with it yesterday on his visit to Starling City. Diggle and Laurel are doing a good job fighting crime out there. I know they need Oliver back, but since he's made a choice to protect Thea, it doesn't look like anything will change.

Malcolm Merlyn is really trying to be a father in this, but Thea's just done with everything at this point. I hope Roy is able to do something since the remainder of the team is weak without Oliver. "Merlyn has lied to us so much that it should be a drinking game," good one Felicity haha! Merlyn is still a snake. The team had every right not to trust him from his track record.

Maseo's wife and Ray is in on this now! I hope this changes things now that they're all in Nanda Parbat. Ray finally got let in on this situation, something Felicity keeps separate. This is totally a point of no return now that the wedding ceremony has happened.

I also don't think the smoke bomb is real. I think Oliver switched the viles (at least, I hope he did). Also I don't know why Tatsu was separated. Is it because they mentioned she was immune? I thought she would do some more with her sword since there was a lot of symbolism there. It had nothing to do witht he son but more between her and Maseo.

The Flash 1.21 Grodd Lives

The Flash 1.21 Grodd Lives
Okay the gorilla scares me! Instead of having alligators or mutant ninja turtles hiding in the sewers, the gorilla is definitely scarier. He's telepathic too, which I didn't think would happen. I wasn't expecting him to be affected by the particle accelerator, but I think it makes sense humans and the ape family are very similar.

Eddie's tied to a chair like a helpless victim, but I don't get why Wells revealed he's a descendant of Eddie. Not sure if it means anything to Eddie, but it makes sense why he never killed him previously. So why is he kept hostage for nothing? Is it a luring technique to catch Barry? A bit useless if you ask me.

Joe is taking a lot of flack right now for helping cover Barry's secret. Not fair, especially from iris of all people. She covered up her relationship with Eddie for a long time, which was her conscience decision. If she wants to be an adult, she better stop whining like one. I'm almost less tolerant of her than I am of Laurel Lance's character in Arrow. For the record, nothing against the female actors Candice Patton or Katie Cassidy; it's the weak storyline written for the characters. How many times are women the reporters that stand alongside the male protagonist heroes? I'm just tired of seeing another Lois Lane or April O'Neil on the bylines.

I hope by next week they can accomplish something like getting Eddie back or Joe back on his feet.

The Night Shift 2.11 Moving On

The Night Shift 2.10 Moving On
Seeing Gwen lose it the way she did was heartbreaking on so many levels. In a second she went instinctual with what she witnessed between the couple. It was sad to see Jordan loose her faith with the claim, but I understand since she's probably seen Gwen get manic over anyone who appears like a dominant male. It's good she got it off her chest and opened up to Kenny. I feel they'll be good for each other, especially since he's very supportive with her while she heals.

The comedic competition with the doctor with the weirdest case was so fun to watch. Everybody dropped everything for the sake of a competitive edge, who doesn't love that?!

I'm glad T.C. is going with Topher into the field. Topher looked attached and saddened to see his friend suffering through the Skype call. Also, what T.C. is doing is another representation of their friendship. They do things together no matter what and don't hold anything against the other. I just hope this trip doesn't cost them from what goes on in San Antonio. It'll be dangerous of course, but maybe they'll miss a case or something important back at the hospital.

The Following 3.11, Bates Motel 3.09

The Following 3.11 Demons
WHOA Gwen just took off on Ryan! I can't say I didn't think it would happen. I know her character could've been somebody we couldn't trust or a bystander who gets in the way. Ever since Claire, it's hard to take anybody seriously as a potential partner for Ryan.

Tom just ruined everything by stealing the laptop to keep tabs on Max. It looked like Erin was really on to him as a main suspect or she was a really good cop following her leads. I don't know if Tom is going to call this one in or if he'll cover up her death. You can't explain this properly to the authorities when you both carry a badge. He never should've tried to dodge phone calls and meetings about his whereabouts.

Mike and Max stay close to Ryan but nobody can help him except for himself. Right now, his subconscious is evoking more images of Joe, but I think he can pull himself out once Theo, Mark and Daisy are caught. When Daisy mentioned Theo as the scariest person she knows, I wonder if she was playing Mark at the time. I also thought the guy who cut people into boxes was the scariest I've ever seen.

Looks like Penny and Theo are on the road together, but I feel mislead with the whole cryptology and book. It had hidden coordinates, but did that mean it was the location of the elite party? I don't know if that person was a past student of Strauss as well, but their common interest is Ryan Hardy (no surprise there). It was a bit rushed with that part of the story, but I'm looking forward to next week's episode! Looks like there's a swap with Penny and Mike. At the end of the day, Ryan can make a deal for sure (if he's in the right mindset). Mike is the only person Ryan can go to, which he mentioned at the beginning when he found out Ryan returned to the bottle. But if Mark and Theo take him away, then Ryan will have Max and the "demons" that enable his alcohol addiction left.

Bates Motel 3.09 Crazy
Once again, Norma is going over her head. Romero really does care for her and it shows with how he's stuck his neck out time and time again. He got her car back for her and even stepped it up to Bob Paris for her. He went full throttle with the USB key analysis, even though it meant his family name to be investigated.

Now that the gun run was a dud with Dylan and Caleb, I'm surprised they even got any money out of it. Looks like Emma's life can be in the clear, but I have a feeling she may find out. I don't think Caleb is going too far, especially since he promised Dylan he'd be around if he needed anything.

Norma is unravelling into a bigger mess. Everybody wants to help her but all she does is lie and hide. Norman has evolved into his subconscious, and I believe once Norma is officially gone, that will be the tipping point for Norman's ruthlessness as a killer.

I really hope Romero makes it out of this season alive. He's shut himself out from Norma's problems but also found himself emotionally invested with her. I just hope this season ends with Bob Paris in the river. I can't stand him anymore. He drove therapist James out of town and he's even warned Norma about what's to come. It may be good advice to get away, but Norma's running out of resources since White Pine Bay originally was her fresh start.

So it looks like Bradley is back to shake things up? She's planting things in Norman's head, but it's going to screw up her plans of living underground and surviving solo. There isn't another storyline to offer her unless she can reinvent her life story. I think Norman may try and help her out, kind of how he did in first season for her. He also never hurt Annika, so I'm hoping the same will go for Bradley.

Once Upon a Time 4.21 Mother

Once Upon a Time 4.21 Mother
As expected, all Lily wants is revenge. I'm not sure if she's going to give Storybrooke a chance, but more than ever she has to give Maleficent a shot at being a mother.

I knew the author couldn't be trusted! As soon as he wasn't writing something to tear apart someone else's life, he vanished to Rumplestilskin in an instant. I think after he's done writing for him, he may go do something else for himself. They're both the same guy in a sense they always need control over everything. No element of surprise for them; they'll always be the predator.

I'm glad Regina is at peace with her life at long last. She's done manipulating and pushing the envelope for what she wants. She was always been a great character, mainly because we've seen all sides to her from first season. Robin coming back to town is a good twist on everything.

Thank goodness Emma has let go of her scowl and grudge against her parents. It's one thing to be upset for one choice that altered her reality, but it's another to blame every little thing following on that one mistake. I hope she gives Captain Hook a real chance with her. I don't want the author damaging the one relationship everyone's been routing for!

I'm looking forward to the two hour finale next week! It's been a good season with the queens of darkness in Storybrooke. My only question is if Zelena is going to turn a new leaf like the rest of them.

Reign 2.20 Fugitive

Reign 2.20 Fugitive
Conde is fleeing for his life and I am still confused with what happened last week. Mary is still acting a bit of an airhead throwing out all her resources to protect Conde as much as possible. At the end of the day, he's Elizabeth's husband BUT then again he's not since the house and proxy was burned down along with the evidence. This couldn't be more complicated.

It looks like Mary is trying her hardest to protect him, but Francis is using up all of his resources to try and protect what she wants. It really is costing him everything and weakening his kingdom.

Narcisse looks like he's dividing his loyalty between Lola and Catherine now. I think he's going to choose Lola if he follows his heart, but logically he will please Catherine for the sake of politics. I'm seeing the perks of being at court for him, but he's not going to have much to rely on since all he does is blackmail and act out of his own personal interest (which is still hard to tell).

Greer and Leith are going down the same road they always see themselves on. I don't know why Leith is surprised. He always sticks his neck out for her and works in the palace babysitting Claude. Greer does have a right to stick up for herself and her independence on her own income. If she marries suddenly, it will mean she needs to give up her current lifestyle as a Madame and settle down. I applaud her for that, but she can't whine about wanting to be happy when Leith offered her all of that.

Kenna chose soldier boy and Sebastian is off on the sidelines now? Not that I don't have faith in this storyline but Kenna is the character who has to sleep her way to the top. She's been painted as the woman who gets what she wants by using her sexuality. Don't like this storyline for a woman, especially one who can be respected for doing other respectable things.

Arrow 3.21 Al Sah-Him

Arrow 3.21 Al Sah-Him
I knew that couldn't have been John Diggle in the beginning! Oliver's mind is getting sharper under his new training, but I don't know if the league be his new commitment. Crazy herbs, it's always the herbs that produce hallucinations!

Side note on Laurel's new super power. That was a pretty wicked black canary screech she had there. I didn't know that could be a super power, but it makes sense to have a collar with a deafening squawk (hence the name black canary).

Malcolm telling Thea, "What did you think he would be doing while joining the League of Assassins?" I was waiting for a response like braiding hair :P Thea is a fighter though, definitely knows what it's like to fight under somebody else's control. It's also useful that she's still well trained and can operate a bow and arrow well! She nearly saved everybody because she drew Oliver's blood first. I wonder if he will go after her int he future. It looks like she may be his weakness in this.

It was a big mistake for Oliver to take Lyla. He wanted Nyssa on the island, but now Ra's Al Ghul just made the worst arrangement ever. An arranged marriage between Nyssa and Oliver is pretty bizarre. I don't understand it, but I guess it will preserve the legacy and intertwine Nyssa's hand in producing a future heir to the League. The episode was quite slow for me this evening.

The Flash 1.20 The Trap

The Flash 1.20 The Trap
I'm liking the whole Gideon software program created by Barry Allen. This means Barry must've travelled through time more than once. Now that there's been a glimpse into the future, we know Iris winds up with Barry as long as everything is left well enough alone. Cisco made a good point about seeing the new uniform as a small insight of whether or not they were meant to see the newspaper article and then altering because of the photograph.

Now that the secret on Wells being the reverse flash is out, I wonder how they'll carry on this way. I has my suspicions on Dr. Wells eventually using the locked up meta-humans (in this case, the shapeshifter) as a decoy. I guess with a few episodes left in the season, he would had to do it soon.

Joe turning down Eddie's request to marry Iris was very courageous on his part. Eddie saying he didn't "need his permission," was a jerk thing to say. I don't agree with that at all; I'm a traditional girl where I believe the parents should be asked first on your intentions of spending the rest of your life with essentially the whole family. I think it's more honourable that way. This is just my personal opinion, but anything around that I find distasteful (like with Eddie's response). It's sad, I really liked his character after he warmed up to Barry and showed he wasn't a bad guy.

Sad that the trap set up for Wells didn't work. He had to put up hidden cameras since he's travelled back through time before. Not a fan that he actually is far ahead of the everything against the rest of the team. I'm sure they can outsmart him somehow, but I don't want this to end with Barry's dad left in jail and Barry seeking revenge for his mother's death.

Eddie's been kidnapped and this is an example of him being an interference. Now that more people are involved with the secret, the more vulnerable everybody is. Not feeling this at all.

The Night Shift 2.10 Hold On

The Night Shift 2.10 Hold On
I stopped breathing the moment that metal beam fell on top of T.C. =O He takes a lot of risk and really does live on the edge. It's bothersome but as it was mentioned previously in the last episode, she told Gwen she wouldn't change him. She fell in love with him for who he is and changing him would make him a different person. I really do agree with this statement because I feel partners should only change themselves consciously on their own. This means they'd only better themselves to be a better person.

That car accident was insane! I actually believed Scott may have been intoxicated, only because he ran the red stop sign with the explanation he was late for his night shift as on-call surgeon. His guilt pretty much ran his adrenaline the entire shift and made himself responsible for the boy in the other car. I also don't think it was a good idea he involved himself more than he did with the actual surgery. It rubbed salt into the wounds, didn't help either party.

I sympathize for Scott, but the hospital, particularly T.C. and Jordan, stuck their neck out for him by "speeding up" his test results. If anything, they put so much faith in him to have him finish up the surgery. I'm glad Jordan still chooses T.C. at the end of the day, but I want to move forward with their relationship without thinking about every little detail holding them behind.

The Following 3.10, Bates Motel 3.08

The Following 3.10 Evermore
I don't think Joe Carroll is dead! We saw him solemnly go on the table by quoting 'The Raven,' but we don't see the person who injected him. He silently went into the next room but we don't get a focus on his facial features. I know Joe's memory still lives on in Ryan's subconscious, but I think there's more to Joe's legacy then what's left with Ryan's alcoholic tendencies. Maybe I'm not ready to let Joe Carroll go since he was a superb villain. I'm sure a lot of viewers probably feel the same way.

Now Gwen is struggling big time here, but she's given Ryan more than enough chances. She just doesn't understand what he's experienced only because he hasn't let her in. Ryan's just got to stay away from the alcohol now.

Another thing I noticed about Ryan was the irony that he saved Joe from everything else for the lethal injection. It was supposed to be his send-off to preserve him until he meets the ending Ryan wants for him. I know part of him in that prison hostage situation made him succumb to survival instincts. It was the part of him that Joe said was always inside him. This was also what Joe wants; once Joe dies, Ryan gets reborn again. I still don't believe Joe is dead because I'm still in denial.

Bates Motel 3.08 The Pit
I'm stunned that Bob Paris and his thugs beat the living daylights out of therapist James. All for the USB key and information on Norma. I tip my hat off to him for trying to help Norma by speaking to Norman. Unfortunately, that got him into trouble and leaked Norma's secret out (the struggles of survival).

Dylan's the absolute greatest to Emma. In all of this, he still wants to do something good and save her life. He's surrounded by so much confusion and anger, but she's the one good thing in his life that crossed paths with him.

Romero is throwing himself out on a limb for Norma. He needs to take a step back in case this goes haywire. The family dinner was nice, but Norman's subconscious is intensifying. I have no idea if he will go after Caleb or Romero first. I'm thinking Caleb because of the past. Romero may be next if he doesn't distance himself from Norma.

I can't believe that ending! I'm not sure if it's Bradley or if he's seeing things. The dog isn't real so this may be his imagination catching up with him.

Once Upon a Time 4.20 Lily

Once Upon a Time 4.20 Lily
I didn't think Regina and Emma were able to get from Storybrooke to Massachusetts and then New York in one day. It seems that magic is always on their side haha.

I knew Lily had to be alive, but it looks like the wizard is routing for Lily in this. He saw the author abused his power and changed stories by ruining other people's lives. He may have wanted Lily to be the saviour all along? He knew she was an innocent once he banished her, but despite her bad luck in the "real world," she's found a way to be protected in all this. Makes sense she wants vengeance but I think she's the key to changing everything. She'll either return to Storybrooke wanting to tear apart Rumplestilskin, or peace with her mother.

Zelena is pregnant and this throws out a huge curveball. Maybe they'll bring Zelena back to Storybrooke with them? Or maybe Regina takes Roland with her instead? Separating Robin from Roland will ruin everything, so I hope this doesn't happen.

OneRepublic's Native Canada Tour (with Lights) at the Air Canada Centre

How do you compare a OneRepublic concert to another? You can't. Quite possibly compare it to every other concert in existence!

I know it's very cliche to say, but OneRepublic has always been a first to create such a genre of this kind. I had this discussion with my friend last night at the concert how OneRepublic is the first big band to incorporate classical strings (the cello and violin) into a pop sound. It's similar to how Coldplay was one of the first to include piano into a rock sound (after the Beatles of course).

A band or artist needs to know how to recreate their performance if they want to keep their fans going. Their setlist was the same since it's the same album haha, but the changes they incorporated were insane! That's what I love about going to every single OneRepublic show played in Toronto! They're always reinventing and inspiring every time.

I saw them last June, but so much has changed from visual effects to the new sound added to their performances. Once again, I cannot explain how exciting they are live. You just have to go.

I'm embarrassed to say I'm unfamiliar with Lights' music other than what's on the radio now and one song from my early university days. She did have an appropriate opening set for OneRepublic. I was also surprised the band came on stage 8:43pm (usually it would be on a half or quarter of the clock) but I'm not complaining since they put on a great show! An all around great evening, I even have a bruise on my quad to prove it! The two seats on my left wound up vacant since those folks never showed. I had floor seats, and throughout the dancing, the row behind pushed forward excitedly at one point during the later half of the concert. The fold over chair caught me on an angle and fell on my leg. On my way out of the ACC into Union, we kept singing, "If I *bruise* myself tonight, it'll be at a OneRepublic concert but by your side!" =)

Arrow 3.20, Reign 2.19

Arrow 3.20 The Fallen
We're bringing people back from the dead now?! Why couldn't this show just do that with Sara Lance =/ Anyway I'm surprised Thea was able to remember everything properly after returning back. If she's got confusion in her, she also isn't supposed to be the same coming out of this. I'm hoping maybe she'll go back for Oliver or something bold to show she would fight for her brother just as much he has for her.

I am so glad Felicity and Oliver admitted their feelings at last! I didn't think it would happen so soon, but this look played out to be the "last goodbye" judging by how she couldn't let go of him. Even in the last second of trying to get him to return to Starling City, she wouldn't stop fighting for him. I think he's supposed to be with her, but he doesn't want to ruin what she has with Ray at the moment. By the way, I don't know what will happen between them since Oliver is "gone".

I want Black Canary to come out bolder this time around. She should go back and bring Oliver home with Diggle. Not sure how I feel about everything else, but Maseo looks like the closest person that would actually help aid in this. Deep down inside, Diggle was able to reach out to his past and make him see if what he's doing is worth it.

Reign 2.19 Abandoned
Mary keeps whining over Conde and it's gotten boring. I think she's obsessed with not being with him, but she has trouble letting go. She's pulling the plug for the sake of politics and claims she's meant to follow her heart. One thing I dislike the most about medieval women is the lack of empowerment when there was a time to be in such a place of power.

Kenna looks like she's after this new soldier boy. Sebastian and her seem to have ended abruptly, so it looks like a complicated subject for now.

Not sure how I feel about Narcisse advancing himself with Catherine. He's become a key player at court, especially by her side with all kinds of resourceful information. I wonder if Lola will ever come back to entertain the idea of being with him (it may be a nice change).

It looks like Conde got married in secret, but doesn't he need to take out Francis in order to be king? He's a bloodline, I understand that much. If he marries English Queen Elizabeth, does this also mean he needs to challenge his place on the throne as a king versus Francis? I know he automatically becomes King of England, it's just claiming France as his country as well means another fight, possibly a war.

The Flash 1.19 Who Is Harrison Wells?

The Flash 1.19 Who Is Harrison Wells?
Hooray more crossovers with Arrow! Cisco being a major fan over black canary was a fun moment in the episode! Laurel didn't do much (which was ok with me) since it was Joe's investigation that took the lead in Starling City. Glad they dug up and found the missing body. This means they have an actual body representing the real Harrison Wells.

That shapeshifter was pretty trippy! He started small with robberies but is only now under the police department's radar. Also, I saw Dr. Wells was interested in his talent at the end, it makes you think what he wants to do with all the meta-humans he's locking up. I understand they catch the bad ones who don't live amongst society in peace. Since we know he's also a bad man (and possibly a shapeshifter since he took the original Harrison's form?) maybe he's creating an army of bad meta-humans. Just a theory.

Eddie is cracking under pressure now. It doesn't look like he can keep a secret anymore, which majorly sucks. Involving him may not have been a good idea after all. Joe is doing his best to keep his nosey (let's face it) daughter Iris out of this, but Eddie may be the weakest one in this. Iris is even using her journalist nature on Caitlin. Not cool! Bringing up her Ronnie the man-on-fire as an ex-employee at S.T.A.R. labs was overstepping some boundaries. She just pulls teeth and pines into uncomfortable situations. She's looking for answers but taking advantage of Barry's realm of friends. I'm liking Iris less because she isn't her own person anymore and thrives for a story.

The Night Shift 2.09 Aftermath

The Night Shift 2.09 Aftermath
That was super badass of Krista and Jordan to save that patient while driving to the hospital. This really shows the ladies can make a difference and improvise when they're on the move; real doctors and rockstar women right here!

It's good T.C. admitted his mistake with his patient. He knows he pre-judged based on appearance, but lucky he found the tumour in the MRI. He also explained to the mom what the options can be that will help save her. He always has the good intentions.

I'm glad Drew and Rick were able to patch up their past. It's nice to know they've reached a middle ground of peace as well. I"m glad Kenny called our Drew on being a gay doctor. As much as Drew tries to be private, he told him why are you hiding anymore? He shouldn't be ashamed anymore about being a gay doctor who served his country, just like how Kenny is a black, male nurse who identifies with minority. This is very important to hear, especially in today's day and age.

Nothing else to say except T.C. giving up the Harley Davidson shows he's becoming more responsible and no longer living on the edge. He's still got his spontaneity, but he's thinking about his future with Jordan and his baby =)

The Following 3.09, Bates Motel 3.07

The Following 3.09 Kill The Messenger
I don't think killing Joe Carroll will solve any problems. The show originated with him so replacing him with another villain won't have the same spark from first season. The substitute villain, whether it be Mark or Theo, aren't strong enough as killers. They follow int he footsteps of their mentors, they don't give orders for their own revenge. Looks like Joe will fight back in the next episode now that he pocketed sunglasses and made them into a tool he needs.

I can't believe they weren't able to find the laptop! I wanted Tom to get caught with it at last, but they just dropped the topic and went after leads to Theo =/ Mike and Max are finding everything they can to help Ryan with his situation. Getting his bank frozen and car tagged under theft is huge though. It slows him down but just motivates him to go after Theo. I think this means they're closing in on Theo and he has very little resources left.

Gwen is pregnant! So maybe she was an innocent all along? I hope she sticks around now that Claire and Joey have moved out of the storyline.

Bates Motel 3.07 The Last Supper
I'm glad the James the professor/therapist intervened! Norman has different fantasies surrounding his relationship with Norma (this was obvious from the beginning) but he's now aggressive with the matter. I'm happy Dylan brought up his problem to Norma while she was gone for the night. He dressed up and pretended he was her for the sake of missing her entirely.

They both act so manic and it's unusual how the resolve is always not to seek further help. James coming in for a house call is the only professional council Norman's ever had. The fact it turned sour so fast shows Norman's escalating his behaviour to a new level. I think he's reached into his subconscious and can't turn back.

It's a good thing Emma can get protected by Dylan in all of this. Alex and James protect Norma, who looks out for Norman. Caleb protects Dylan, who is now watching out for Emma. It looks like there's some division happening, but Norman needs to be away from them all.

What was up with that ending?! I wonder if it's a dream or if it's really happening =S Norman's over the edge, it doesn't look like he can get any saving now.

Once Upon a Time 4.19 Sympathy for the De Vil

Once Upon a Time 4.19 Sympathy for the De Vil
This is actually a great twist on Cruella's life growing up. She became a villain partially because of the author. He enhanced her role as a villain and even if she did get a "happy ending," it would be dark.

Ursuala's happy ending was to get her voice back and return to the sea with her father. Maleficent's happy ending lies with getting her daughter back. Regina's happy ending is finding love again with Robin Hood. Rumplestilskin's happiness is getting Belle back BUT he also wants to hold on to his dark magic.

Cruella's happy ending is still an angry one. The author is involved with her, but she wants nothing to do with him. I think Cruella, Peter Pan and Rumplestilskin are the only villains who can't rewrite their paths. All three are over consumed with power, which is why the author left well enough alone.

I wonder if what he meant by everything ending with the saviour really meant no more Emma. At one point, being the saviour may not be good enough. She has a lot burdening her, I hope this means Lily will come back and be a companion to her.

Reign 2.18 Reversal of Fortune

Reign 2.18 Reversal of Fortune
Are Conde and Mary no more now? She looks really wishy-washy with her decision now. Francis escaped a close call there, but he granted Mary "permission" to live out what she wants. The issue at hand is that she's half committing both to her marriage and her love affair. It doesn't work that way, especially when your a queen with minimal power at the moment.

I found it interesting to have the episode start and end with Conde's situation with Mary at complete extremes. Without a doubt he's given up more for her. She needs to either back out completely and let him go or make a concrete decision on what to do. It looks like both nations are suffering, and it's only getting worst now with French troops heading over to Scotland.

Leith is so optimistic with Greer, it's actually very comforting. I don't get Claude's spoiled attitude. I know Leith is her newly appointed chaperone, but this may get quite boring as well. No one likes to be a babysitter to royalty, might as well be a person in waiting. Greer looks headstrong with her new found business. It was an accident that turned into something profitable and useful to her survival. She's kind of the only smart lady in all of this, finally doing something for herself.

Conde better make up his mind soon. He can't keep waiting on Mary, he's got to make decisions for himself is she's not willing to protect him.

Arrow 3.19 Broken Arrow

Arrow 3.19 Broken Arrow
Roy is experiencing a really tough jail life. It's nothing the rest of the team wouldn't do to stick their neck out for Oliver, but Detective Lance is taking things to the next level. He's actually going out of his way to make sure Oliver pays for everything. It seems to be the same story with every comic book hero. You're either loved or hated even though you're trying to do something for the greater good. As much as the protagonist sees the bigger picture to save people, there will always be the criticism of those who won't see eye-to-eye.

When Felicity got captured, I actually thought Oliver was going to get into Ray's "Atom" suit when he suggested he needed his instinct. It's good he helped from afar, but I see Oliver reaching a breaking point with regards to choosing lead the League of Assassins. This also gets me thinking with Roy faking his death in jail, they mentioned that's the end of the Arrow as far as Starling City is concerned. With that in mind, does this make it easier for Oliver to go dark side and join the league after all? He has every right to be convinced at the very end of the episode with the state of Thea. I wonder if Malcolm Merlyn will jump in and open up a can of kendo whoop ass on Ra's al Ghul (I'm actually praying for it, John Barrowman is awesome).

Cisco cameo! First, it's good Cisco identified that the metahuman they caught wasn't in Central City when the particle accelerator explosion happened. This means there are more people outside the city that may have been affected from the accident. Second, I'm glad with even yesterday's episode that there would be some more Arrow-Flash crossovers. Maybe this will hint from here on out that we'll get more crossovers for the remainder of the season for both shows!

The Flash 1.18 All Star Team Up

The Flash 1.18 All Star Team Up
I like the Arrow-Flash crossovers! These episodes are awesome and spice up everything in this season. Ray and Felicity are such a nerd couple, but they match well. I like that Barry is super protective of Felicity. He hasn't analyzed yet what's going on with Dr. Wells, but he's getting close to the source. Ray nerding out with Cisco and the team is also awesome! They really do have persona matches in both shows.

Iris is being too much of a journalist in all aspects of her life. When you start being way too investigative with your relationship life, it takes a turn in your behaviour. Her all around interaction with her dad, Eddie and Barry are paranoia. She overthinks way too much and is letting her journal articles interfere with her social life.

I'm so happy Emily Kinney gets a spot on the show! I've missed her since her departure as Beth on The Walking Dead. She genuinely loved being on that show with her cast-family and it's good to see her in a villain role this time around.

I'm confused with what's going on with Cisco. How has he been able to see a flashback that didn't actually happen? With the time travel, he wasn't supposed to be live to reveal about Dr. Wells in that part of reality. I was wondering if Cisco was going to find out if he's the reverse-flash before Caitlin. I'm glad Barry and Joe told Caitlin or else this would've been overwhelming for Barry to carry on his own.

This entire episode centred around killer robot bees scare me because one of the many things I am allergic too are bees =/

The Following 3.08, Bates Motel 3.06

The Following 3.08 Flesh & Blood
Another episode where I don't trust Gwen. Bringing your boss to Ryan's apartment is a big faux pas. If she was so concerned with him making it to the dinner, she would've tried every way to call and contact him while on the field. He has every right to feel bombarded by people acting like fan boys and opinions they should keep to themselves. If you decide to show up and shove your ideas down an FBI's throat, you're bound to get shut out (especially when it's Kevin Bacon).

Mike needs to stick with Ryan at all times. In that wired house explosion, Ryan was the one who bounced up and threw his body on to Mike and into the bathtub. Mike's more reckless/careless if Max or Ryan are with with him.

I'm glad Mendez was on board to let the team do their own investigation. After finding the children in the home, she gave up too easily. She thinks the job is getting too much for her, but Ryan is still fighting back at all costs.

I'm surprised nobody thought Joe Caroll would've escaped sooner. He was sentenced to the death penalty and had people hiding everywhere! This makes me wonder if the finale will end with him again. The show has steered away from the Edgar Allan Poe genre, so imagine it would somehow come back to it with Joe on the loose.

Bates Motel 3.06 Norma Louise
Norma is the definition of crazy. She's absolutely nuts and I feel we're finally seeing her behaviour without coddling Norman (or anyone else for that matter).

Dylan is building another healthy relationship, this time with Emma. She's always seeking Norma's approval and Norman's attention. It's about time somebody sees her as a person and not a walking health hazard. When he helped her clear her lungs, that shows he really did appreciate her being around this whole night for Norman's sake.

I didn't think Norma would actually return and speak to Caleb. It looks like they've mended things for the time being, but I don't know if this will turn out healthy.

Sheriff Romero is awesome and may just be my favourite character in this show. He came out of his gun shot wounds, popped out of his hospital bed and rammed his IV into the car (while still being hooked up to it!) It looks like he's out for blood and is sick and tired of all the corruption happening in his town. White Pine Bay is far from getting all the dirty laundry out of there, but Romero looks like he won't stand for it.

The Night Shift 2.08 Parenthood

The Night Shift 2.08 Parenthood
I've got to say, the whole team has come together in a new light in welcoming Ragosa to be a real part of the team. Organizing the party for his daughter meant a lot to him, but it makes you wonder why his ex-wife has so much resentment against him. She must've had extravagant spending habits when he had his previous salary but I'm not sure why everything falls on to his shoulders when he gets to see his daughter at a minimum.

The shooting at the ceremony really makes you think about the trauma these families go through when losing a piece of them overseas. They didn't get into the situation as much, but they did show enough to show the cost of one person's actions on the innocent. Drew has a lot of friends he served with, but I really like how they're all accepting of his sexuality. I hear that in ANY work environment, so many people are subjected to hate because of their sexual orientation. Finally here's a show that's proud of having same-sex partners and awareness surrounding their everyday struggles (The Flash mildly does the same thing too with the head of police department being a gay, married man).

I wonder if T.C.'s sister-in-law is making a reappearance in the show. She sort of just disappeared, but I can't say she brought anything interesting to the table either. She brought out all kinds of baggage with her addiction problems, and Jordan is close to sainthood because of how well she treated her and downplayed her behaviour.

Wrong move on Paul for taking the medication. I understand he wanted to help the little boy, but Kenny even said all he had to do was ask. Kenny got a promotion and could've lost his job on the spot if anybody thought there was suspicious activity going on. Kenny just mended what's going on with Krista, now he's got awkwardness with Paul.

Speaking of Krista, I am glad she is clear of cancer traces in her body. Her and Drew as BFFs are a good combination in this =)
