The Flash 4.03 Luck Be a Lady
It's Sugar! She still looks the same considering I've seen her on TV growing up and used to be a radio disc jockey. She got to turn her fortunes around by affecting everybody else's. It was a straight-forward concept but the "cherry pop" lines were an overshare of sexual innuendo.
It doesn't take away from the fact this episode was silly on its own. If the writers keep going in this direction, visiting the new metas will be just as boring.
Iris is so extra. In the church she said the coffin is a nice cedar and climbs on an alter to flip the deceased man's portrait. I'm tired of her character and she's always in the way. The damsel has got to go when her day job is forcefully being on Team Flash.
Harry Wells is here to take the spot of Wally West?! How is this allowed? I know he wasn't getting any use now that Barry is back, but removing the second speedster is a shame.

The Flash 4.02 Mixed Signals
The Flash 4.02 Mixed Signals
I don't know why this storyline is getting silly. I can't believe I'm getting bored by how this season is running.
It doesn't make sense that there's people living outside Central City becoming meta humans when they weren't near the S.T.A.R. labs accident. I don't like the idea of following 11 more people to see if they have special abilities.
This episode focused on revenge of an angry person. I'm not for that and I feel the "bully" of the group didn't deserve to suffer the way she did. She was also wrong to treat the meta as a loser and talk down on him like she was top.
Cisco was absolutely ridiculous as well with his bad comebacks. Barry's suit wasn't good
Wally getting a new hair style was a highlight. We'll see what they bring next week. I don't think I can stand chasing 11 metas but we'll see how they execute it. The writers are dropping the ball on this

The Flash 4.01 The Flash Reborn
The Flash 4.01 The Flash Reborn
I'm not sure how I feel about this season beginning. It seems too good to be true that there's nothing wrong with Barry at this moment in time. I feel he doesn't know what's happening internally with his abilities and well being. It's too soon to tell, but I don't think it looks as if he's hiding anything from the team.
Caitlin on the other hand is trying to get a grip on Killer Frost. Her alter ego emerges when her temper gets tested, but Caitlin seems to handle herself better than before. She doesn't appear as afraid of her abilities as she was before. I also wonder if this means Julian will make another return.
Cisco looks like he's made progress with Wally and Joe. Running the team is tough, especially without Barry or Harry around.
Iris is emotionally unstable. She's irrational with her decisions since losing Barry and living on her own. I think she's reckless and shouldn't be the one to rely on. I know that's a bit of a stretch considering Caitlin's integrity at the moment, but Iris actually didn't want Barry back.
Someone explain to me why Barry showed up naked? He's never come back sans clothes from the speed force before. That didn't make much sense either, but I guess that's Grant Gustin's contract for you haha.
I'll see how this season turns out, but I think I'm dropping Arrow with the exception of possible crossover episodes.

The Flash 2.01, Limitless 1.03
The Flash 2.01 The Man Who Saved Central City
Looks like Barry starts off with blaming himself for what happened at the end of last season. Ronnie's lost in the vortex and he doesn't feel he deserves the key to the city for his bravery.
Caitlin shouldn't be separate from S.T.A.R. labs, I forbid this! Her spot is better with the team than Iris. She's just a journalist mourning her ex-boyfriend Eddie. I feel she isn't healthy for Barry's well being. She knows Barry always had feelings for her, but she ignored and friend-zoned him the entire time.
The rebel character was a weak one tonight, since this premiere was more dialogue/emotional based. Jay Garrick arriving at the end was a lot of fun though! I wonder what news he has for Barry and the team.
Limitless 1.03 The Legend of Marcos Ramos
I can't get over how Brian hustled the entire floor for information on their crooked boss haha Probably the best part of the episode.
Seeing his interaction with his ex-girlfriend Shauna finally showed what his past used to be. It's too bad she couldn't stick around, but the warning from Bradley Cooper's and company was a huge threat. Speaking of which, it really looks like the stay-at-home nurse knows more than she's lead on this whole time. She knows Brian's body will eventually shut down. She also knows to categorize herself as a number. It's not like Brian can rely on her for the truth, but she is taking care of his father's health. I'm hoping she can eventually help him if it comes down to a moral decision.

The Flash 1.23 Fast Enough
The Flash 1.23 Fast Enough
This was truly a magnificent finale for a fantastic show! There's so much about this show I admire that I find myself not shutting up about it around my dad. He hasn't watched consistent episodes of the series and knows what's going on because I go non-stop about it.
I don't believe Eobard (such a weird name) is fully gone. I know the parallel of Eddie interrupting the timeline with his sacrifice probably means Eobard disappears for now. But Eddie got sucked into the wormhole on his own when all the other pieces of matter vanished as well.
Barry will probably find an answer in the wormhole or he will break another time barrier. I feel he's stronger than he was before, which means he's ready to conquer everything else. I'm actually really excited for Cisco holding a secret ability. I wonder how soon they'll allow him to use his abilities and if it will be shockwaves. It's good to know he too was affected by the particle accelerator but there has to be other meta-humans who haven't reacted as naturally as Barry has in the process.
Pretty bummed that Iris chooses Eddie after the fact he knows he can't be with her. It's a low blow, showing that she didn't pick him as her first choice but still keeps him hanging on to her. He only ever wanted to be a "hero" in all of this, but he isn't remembered publicly the way the Flash is.
It was so emotional having Barry travel back to the night his mother died. There were three Barry Allen's that night; young Barry, our present day Barry, and future Barry. Future Barry actually signalled to our Barry not to step in and save his mother. Let it be and leave the past the way it is. This means future Barry knew all along that another version of him was going to show up all along trying to save his mom. Maybe future Barry knows what life is with his mom alive? Future Barry could have been through numerous time barrier trips where he experienced all options and the first one was always the best way to become the Flash? There's so many possibilities and I see so much potential in this show!
It was heart wrenching to watch him let go of his mom. He held her and cried deeply with the intention of saving her (and his dad from jail) only to let her go and give her a final goodbye. It was appropriate to show this as a closed-case situation to the end of a season. If he ever entertains the idea of saving his mom and changing the past, we have the final answer right here.
There's one part at the very end I found interesting, which was Jay Garrick's helmet! I sense him coming into second season. Maybe he will fall through the wormhole and help Barry in Central City. I will miss this season, but I'm looking forward to what the writers can whip up.

The Flash 1.22 Rogue Air
The Flash 1.22 Rogue Air
Never expected to be so relieved at seeing Iris on the scene. I like her (and Eddie) again now that the season is coming to a close come next week. Had she not showed up at S.T.A.R. Labs, I think Joe, Cisco and Caitlin could've been in serious danger. I'm also back to being alright with Eddie, seeing that at the end of the day he tells Iris that he can't lie to himself anymore. I find that very little of his decision had to do with the newspaper clipping. It was the tip of the iceberg, but Eddie even said so himself, "there are three people in this relationship." The good thing is they're not mad at Barry, but disappointed in themselves for not seeing things clearly.
I knew Leonard couldn't be trusted. Barry had his arm tied behind his back though since he needed help transporting the prisoners. I was hoping Oliver Queen would help transport the bodies on to the island, but it looks like he was used for the very end of the episode. I guess this means all the meta humans get a free pass for second season. Looks to be kind of a spoiler, but maybe Captain Cold Leonard returns with his sister once again.
Hooray for the Amell cousin cameos! This gets me excited for tomorrow's Arrow finale, this must mean Barry will have a cross over once more with Oliver. It was also nice to see Ronnie again. He looks like he's got better control of his fire powers now with the device on his chest.
Looking forward to next week's finale. The prisoner release was a let down for me, but at least Oliver and Ronnie were able to help Barry capture Wells. The reverse flash better not win this fight.

The Flash 1.21 Grodd Lives
The Flash 1.21 Grodd Lives
Okay the gorilla scares me! Instead of having alligators or mutant ninja turtles hiding in the sewers, the gorilla is definitely scarier. He's telepathic too, which I didn't think would happen. I wasn't expecting him to be affected by the particle accelerator, but I think it makes sense humans and the ape family are very similar.
Eddie's tied to a chair like a helpless victim, but I don't get why Wells revealed he's a descendant of Eddie. Not sure if it means anything to Eddie, but it makes sense why he never killed him previously. So why is he kept hostage for nothing? Is it a luring technique to catch Barry? A bit useless if you ask me.
Joe is taking a lot of flack right now for helping cover Barry's secret. Not fair, especially from iris of all people. She covered up her relationship with Eddie for a long time, which was her conscience decision. If she wants to be an adult, she better stop whining like one. I'm almost less tolerant of her than I am of Laurel Lance's character in Arrow. For the record, nothing against the female actors Candice Patton or Katie Cassidy; it's the weak storyline written for the characters. How many times are women the reporters that stand alongside the male protagonist heroes? I'm just tired of seeing another Lois Lane or April O'Neil on the bylines.
I hope by next week they can accomplish something like getting Eddie back or Joe back on his feet.

The Flash 1.20 The Trap
The Flash 1.20 The Trap
I'm liking the whole Gideon software program created by Barry Allen. This means Barry must've travelled through time more than once. Now that there's been a glimpse into the future, we know Iris winds up with Barry as long as everything is left well enough alone. Cisco made a good point about seeing the new uniform as a small insight of whether or not they were meant to see the newspaper article and then altering because of the photograph.
Now that the secret on Wells being the reverse flash is out, I wonder how they'll carry on this way. I has my suspicions on Dr. Wells eventually using the locked up meta-humans (in this case, the shapeshifter) as a decoy. I guess with a few episodes left in the season, he would had to do it soon.
Joe turning down Eddie's request to marry Iris was very courageous on his part. Eddie saying he didn't "need his permission," was a jerk thing to say. I don't agree with that at all; I'm a traditional girl where I believe the parents should be asked first on your intentions of spending the rest of your life with essentially the whole family. I think it's more honourable that way. This is just my personal opinion, but anything around that I find distasteful (like with Eddie's response). It's sad, I really liked his character after he warmed up to Barry and showed he wasn't a bad guy.
Sad that the trap set up for Wells didn't work. He had to put up hidden cameras since he's travelled back through time before. Not a fan that he actually is far ahead of the everything against the rest of the team. I'm sure they can outsmart him somehow, but I don't want this to end with Barry's dad left in jail and Barry seeking revenge for his mother's death.
Eddie's been kidnapped and this is an example of him being an interference. Now that more people are involved with the secret, the more vulnerable everybody is. Not feeling this at all.

The Flash 1.19 Who Is Harrison Wells?
The Flash 1.19 Who Is Harrison Wells?
Hooray more crossovers with Arrow! Cisco being a major fan over black canary was a fun moment in the episode! Laurel didn't do much (which was ok with me) since it was Joe's investigation that took the lead in Starling City. Glad they dug up and found the missing body. This means they have an actual body representing the real Harrison Wells.
That shapeshifter was pretty trippy! He started small with robberies but is only now under the police department's radar. Also, I saw Dr. Wells was interested in his talent at the end, it makes you think what he wants to do with all the meta-humans he's locking up. I understand they catch the bad ones who don't live amongst society in peace. Since we know he's also a bad man (and possibly a shapeshifter since he took the original Harrison's form?) maybe he's creating an army of bad meta-humans. Just a theory.
Eddie is cracking under pressure now. It doesn't look like he can keep a secret anymore, which majorly sucks. Involving him may not have been a good idea after all. Joe is doing his best to keep his nosey (let's face it) daughter Iris out of this, but Eddie may be the weakest one in this. Iris is even using her journalist nature on Caitlin. Not cool! Bringing up her Ronnie the man-on-fire as an ex-employee at S.T.A.R. labs was overstepping some boundaries. She just pulls teeth and pines into uncomfortable situations. She's looking for answers but taking advantage of Barry's realm of friends. I'm liking Iris less because she isn't her own person anymore and thrives for a story.

The Flash 1.18 All Star Team Up
The Flash 1.18 All Star Team Up
I like the Arrow-Flash crossovers! These episodes are awesome and spice up everything in this season. Ray and Felicity are such a nerd couple, but they match well. I like that Barry is super protective of Felicity. He hasn't analyzed yet what's going on with Dr. Wells, but he's getting close to the source. Ray nerding out with Cisco and the team is also awesome! They really do have persona matches in both shows.
Iris is being too much of a journalist in all aspects of her life. When you start being way too investigative with your relationship life, it takes a turn in your behaviour. Her all around interaction with her dad, Eddie and Barry are paranoia. She overthinks way too much and is letting her journal articles interfere with her social life.
I'm so happy Emily Kinney gets a spot on the show! I've missed her since her departure as Beth on The Walking Dead. She genuinely loved being on that show with her cast-family and it's good to see her in a villain role this time around.
I'm confused with what's going on with Cisco. How has he been able to see a flashback that didn't actually happen? With the time travel, he wasn't supposed to be live to reveal about Dr. Wells in that part of reality. I was wondering if Cisco was going to find out if he's the reverse-flash before Caitlin. I'm glad Barry and Joe told Caitlin or else this would've been overwhelming for Barry to carry on his own.
This entire episode centred around killer robot bees scare me because one of the many things I am allergic too are bees =/

The Flash 1.17 Tricksters
The Flash 1.17 Tricksters
That opening seen was stunning! The graphics showing the fight between Barry and the Yellow Flash was very well done. Now we get an explanation to who the person is beneath the mask. We've always thought it was Dr. Harrison Wells, but it's been an impersonator this whole time.
I'm glad Cisco is here to stay, but if he gets too close to investigating Dr. Wells one more time, he may be in danger. Barry and Joe are getting super close to this case, and I'm glad they've let Eddie in on their whole secret. I like this direction better with the guys sticking together as opposed to having Eddie on the outs and Iris inside. She's more like the person who would be easy and snitch since she's an aspiring journalist trying to make a name for herself outside her Red Streak blog entries. This also binds Eddie to Barry's secret and he can't turn his back on Joe either for that matter. This is a better alternative than Iris knowing, in my opinion =)
Back to the man who takes the identity of Dr. Wells, he became even more interesting to me. He's the reverse flash, but he also mentioned int he flashback that he's from the future. Could that be centuries forward future or present time (what we see now) type of future where he already knew Barry as well? He trained him up to fight and go back in time to try and save his mother (a destiny he's always meant to face) but does this mean he always wanted to prepare him for that one fight in time? It's intricate and very unusual for the enemy to want to do this, so there may be another ulterior motive surrounding this. I wonder who it'll involve and if it has to do with Barry's parents.

The Flash 1.16 Rogue Time
The Flash 1.16 Rogue Time
Pretty satisfied with tonight's episode, but it says a lot when Barry tries to change even one thing to save Joe's life.
He got caught up and motivated to try and fix everything. The whole time he confessed his feelings for Iris, he didn't take into account the rest of her day falling into place appropriately. She was supposed to have a talk with Linda in the office. Linda was supposed to catch her about her feelings for Barry as opposed to victimizing herself all the time making her seem like the desirable one. Since Linda had a talk with Barry instead, there was never a chance for her to "fight" for Barry with Iris.
I'm glad it turned out this way because Iris knowing The Flash's true identity would've turned sour. She'd get ahead of herself with taking advantage of his powers, and she'd probably have to lie to Eddie about it. Very few people are supposed to know a hero's secret identity anyway.
Cisco got to live! I thought Dr. Wells was going to follow through and kill him, but Cisco never got a chance to further investigate and find out the Yellow Flash's identity anyway. This time around, Barry and Joe are on to the trail, which looks like a safer route. Involving the lab will only endanger Caitlin and Cisco more.
Too bad Barry didn't get a happy ending in his love life, but now he can focus on more important things with regards to his mom's killer.
It was nice to see Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell again, but I think I'm fine without another Prison Break reunion.

The Flash 1.15 Out of Time
The Flash 1.15 Out of Time
I really enjoy the diversity in this show. Starting with the captain of the police force being an openly, gay man. A man in power with a proud relationship shows so much strength and how much these old comic book hero stories are changing with the times. I'm proud of the writers of this show to express different relationships, both homosexual and interracial =)
Iris knows the truth about Barry's secret identity at last! I hope she'll react properly by the next episode. Barry is busy saving Central city, but there will be bigger problems once he returns to the lab.
Cisco's death is too much for me! I don't want him to go out this way, because Caitlin's going to be next to follow! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?! This season has plenty of episodes left, I don't want it just to be Caitlin and Barry alone in all of this! Dr. Wells is risking everything and at the same time exposing too much at once. Cisco was the brain behind most of the inventions and ideas for Harrison's work. I wonder why he would eliminate him so soon, especially since he could easily silence him.
I want Cisco to be saved, but I'm not sure if Dr. Wells pulled out his heart =/ I really don't want him to be gone, he was really fun in this show!

The Flash 1.14 Fallout
The Flash 1.14 Fallout
That whole separation thing with Ronnie and Dr. Stein is more complicated than I thought. It's good that they're not "regulars" on the show anymore, only because I think it would be too complicated trying to focus on their research and saving the city at the same time.
Joe got to tell Barry what Cisco found in the blood splatter! Barry looked heartbroken coming back into his old home, but it's good he listened to people that genuinely care about him. I'm hoping Joe stays suspicious of Dr. Wells only because he's so close to getting most of the truth unveiled about Barry's mom. Barry looks determined to pursue the time travel anyway to save his mother, but if it was all set in stone, he's destined to alter his present reality involving his abilities.
I'm done with Iris and her nosey reporter job. She's become just an extra to me and her boss is making her into this snoop, hiring her only because of her blog on The Flash. Her character isn't my cup of tea anymore because she's always played this oblivious girl around Barry, but decided to pair up with Eddie. I don't have anything against Eddie, he's not a bad guy at all. But Iris makes it seem she can keep Barry on a hook even though she has a live-in boyfriend. I hope her role as a reporter doesn't dominate or else she's going to find out Barry's secret the hard (not to mention the obvious) way.
