X Company 1.03 Kiss of Death

X Company 1.03 Kiss of Death
Yes! This is what I wanted for Aurora, a dominant, leading role! It was a reckless move for her to pursue on without the team as her back up, but Duncan said it was worth it since it was a success.

I'm glad one of the soldiers addressed a common issue that was overruled. Homosexuality as a "crime". It's a good thing Aurora got the information needed and still sympathized the soldier's struggle to be himself without being condemned for it. It was also the first time she expressed her heartache over Rene's death.

Alfred is trying his best to reach out to comfort her, but she chooses to shut herself out. I think she'll eventually come around when she's ready, since Rene's passing is still fresh in her mind. Also, they're a team so they need to work together. She did excellent with her part while the others tried to get the secret codes in the other building.

It was scary seeing Alfred and Neil stuck in that room together. I thought for sure with the blue jail cell flashbacks, this was where Alfred would get caught. I know they escaped, but I'm going to confirm he probably gets caught by the end of the season. Something may happen between Alfred and Aurora, since all we see are flashbacks of her face while he sees a blue wash. Alfred keeps stressing he feels the most at home when he sees blue. In the jail cell, Alfred keeps it together with a blue wash of Aurora. If my theory turns out to be true, I think Alfred won't talk and will undergo torture from his captors.

Snow plus freezing rain equals major pain

This day was completely exhausting. Not only did I experience a total of eight flickering blackouts at work, it was terrible trying to get home afterwards. My work kept getting interrupted since the office computers, along with everything else, kept restarting.

We tried to call our hydro company in the city and were unsuccessful with getting a live person to aide us.

It looks like things may be lightening up out this evening, but Mother Nature will do what she does best in the great North as she pleases.

The Following 3.01 New Blood

The Following 3.01 New Blood
I can't trust anyone that gets too close to Ryan. I really don't believe anybody's good intentions for him, especially with how many times he's been thrown under the bus and taken advantage of because of what he's done and what he's been through.

I want to trust his new partner, but I think that we've seen enough to know anybody, with the exception of his niece Max, has screwed him over. Speaking of Max, I wish she'd take back Mike. I think he's been lost since his father died and he killed Lily Gray. I know he isn't in the right mindset at the moment, but I think Max can bring him back.

Mark has created a whole new following all of a sudden! He basically hijacked Joe Caroll's cult and created his own. He's going to slip up, I'm sure of it. I don't think he has it in him to be a solid killer with his schizophrenic behaviour interfering with his choices. I also don't like the couple following him around like pet dogs. They said they have their own agenda, so my guess is they want to take over the cult themselves? They appear to be on the run so they probably aren't who they say they are.

The Night Shift 2.02 Back at the Ranch

The Night Shift 2.02 Back at the Ranch
YES! T.C. is back and performing surgeries! I'm good as long as he's back in action now =P

Topher is having so much fun with Ragosa haha I love it! It looks like T.C. and Jordan are really serious now, glad they're moving forward. T.C. needs more stability in his life.

I didn't think Krista may gravitate towards Joey, even though she's with Kenny at the moment. A bit of a triangle for the time being, but I guess it's there since T.C.-Jordan-Scott are finished. T.C. seems to be the only professional one around everybody, especially since Scott was dumped.

I'm a bit worried for Drew, because his boyfriend is getting his self-esteem down and aggravated. Drew can only do so much for him but it's getting under his skin that he can't be around him at home anymore. I hope the prosthetics surgery/consult Krista helped him score will change things around. I like happy Drew around the halls!

Hoping Joey and T.C. can be friends. Joey seems to understand T.C. since they've both served before settling in San Antonio. He also did a very good deed letting T.C. take the reigns in his OR. I find T.C. is way too hard on himself, but he has to mentally recover somehow if he wants to get his life back.

The Walking Dead 5.12 Remember

The Walking Dead 5.12 Remember
The inside of Alexandria looks like a calmer version of Woodbury. The governor had a fake setup where he would intimidate and brainwash his community into staying. Here, we see a female leader for once who is actually putting all her cards out on the table. At least she isn't showing any motive or keeping things away.

She's definitely a congresswoman if she is putting all the children and families first. This could turn out interesting for the group. I can't believe they finally have clean water! This makes a major change in everybody's life.

I kind of enjoyed the video taped interview styles of each character. When you see how they behave alone, they're still a family unit.

I hope this location isn't just a front for some crazy cannibalistic cult who have barbaric fights to the death against brothers =/ If this series is going to see a proper end in the next two years, I'd like for them to have some stability.

There's a select few townspeople that act suspicious already. The lady who helped cut Rick's hair... her husband is creep #1. He sits on his porch in the middle of the night like as if it's normal. Don't trust him. Idiot supply runner who got an ass-whooping from Glenn & Daryl; he's creep #2. Another scene, which a friend of mine pointed out to me, was Rick already doesn't trust anybody at Alexandria (why would he?) because his smuggled gun in the hidden blender is already missing. I hope Morgan actually comes back guns blazing sometime soon, he can't be too far. He's also been making it on foot on his own!

Lastly, I'm pleased with Rick reassuring Daryl and Carol for the ending scene. If it turns out the people in the place don't work out, they'll take over and run it themselves. I like this plan much better than anything else. This way, they know not to get too comfortable or become 'weak'.

Once Upon a Time 4.13 Darkness on the Edge of Town

Once Upon a Time 4.13 Darkness on the Edge of Town
The costume and set department do an amazing job with bringing characters to life! I'm liking this side of the Queens of Darkness throwing down a good scene.

Killian is too hard on himself in all of this. Emma really believes in him, so I hope he can get his self-esteem and confidence back in. Belle seems to be in the same boat but she made a choice to banish Rumple away from the town.

Pretty stoked the fairies were freed in all of this. They have better knowledge around light magic so they'll be productive and useful in Storybrooke.

Did nobody notice the big black winged smoke flapping in the distance?! Maybe if they paid attention and didn't hug everything out, they'd be prepared for the large gargoyle hanging around the town.

I'm trying to think who the "author" was of the storybook. At first I thought it was August in the beginning because of what he sewn into it in first season. Then I got thinking maybe it is adult Henry. He's the only one born in the real world and not from the Enchanted Forest. Adult Henry sounds like a good candidate to be this author.

Snow and Charming are the greatest couple. They seem to be making wiser decisions this time around with judgement and working together as a family. I liked the threat Snow made two Ursula and Cruella. This means there are more secrets!

Broadchurch 2.08

What an unbelievable season! I didn't think this show would take a turn the way it did, but I had my suspicions that Claire was involved the whole time as opposed to Lee.

I didn't think it would be all three people associated with Pippa and Lisa's death, but it would make sense each one would blackmail the other for the sake of their own protection.

I am so glad there was some closure and justice coming out of Joe Miller's case. I thought Reverend Paul was going to take matters into his own hands, but his loyalty to the church and his friends proved he was doing the right thing for the town (without losing his morals). Beth's closing speech to Joe REALLY sank in with every kind of feeling any parent would express to somebody whose wronged/violated them in the worst possible way. When she said there were so many awful things she could do to him and no one would care, she hit the hammer right on the nail. The entire town was torn apart and broken by Danny's death. Everybody had deep dark secrets, none of which would've surfaced if it weren't for Danny's murder.

I'm glad Beth, Mark and Ellie did the right thing by showing he's no longer welcomed back into town to live amongst them as if nothing happened. They're burying the hatchet, but along with it want to forget he ever existed. He extended this entire season by showing what a coward he really is. I'm so happy this happened, even though I wish he was trialled guilty =/

Back to the Lee Ashworth case, I'm glad Alec Hardy can go back to Sandbrook. (I wonder if that's where season three will take us?) Once the Broadchurch case was solved, and his previous case in Sandbrook was re-opened only to be solved, now he can go back to his life. I'm sure there will be a new case for him to solve, but I hope the new season doesn't bring up his health concerns into the show as his send-off. I can't wait another year! With that horrific Gracepoint spin-off wasting my time (and David Tennant's haha), I hope the writers can get back on track and write a proper season three for this series!
