Welcome back Morgan! I had my suspicions he may have been to Alexandria before, but it looks like he goes his own way to stay alive (smart man). When he saved Aaron and Daryl from that close call, I was under the impression the traps with the trucks were all his doing. Then again, with the note in the car indicating everything's a trap, that could have been Morgan's writing or someone who didn't outlive the wolf pack people.

That very end when Morgan stared at Rick's change in behaviour =O I feel like the last time they were together, Morgan was the one losing it because he lost his son and Rick was the one trying to get him to keep it together. Morgan would be the most understanding of all in any case, since Rick was the next long time friend of Rick from first season.

Reg didn't deserve to go out the way he did. He was a really good guy, even supported Maggie's argument with his wife in the porch conversation. Being the architect of the Alexandria walls, he was able to establish security for the community. He also looked like he wanted peace and hated conflict. Gosh, Pete was such a jerk! When Deanna looks up at Rick and tells him to 'do it,' we know she finally understands a taste of Rick's loss, suffering and survival outside the walls.

Maybe this will mean something good come sixth season. Morgan is the tough jedi at peace with himself. He doesn't know the group's experience up until this point, or even met them until now. I guess it will depend if people take direction from Rick or not.

Gabriel has to go. He's a disease to the group infecting everybody with lies and deceit. Not cool to preach the Bible and behave like a hypocrite. He looks like he was in a prayer circle with Sasha and Maggie, possibly asking for forgiveness. I don't want him around. He tried to destroy the group and the entire community leaving the gate door open. New season should bring something to the table. I'm satisfied with this second half of season five =)

CRAZY LYING COWARDS! I'm sorry but cowards, like these people in Alexandria, just infuriate me. People who leave their own behind. People who beat on those smaller than them.

Alcoholic Pete abuses Jessie (while exposing Sam to it), this is all wrong. Domestic violence in a town that's supposed to be "safe" in this apocalyptic world. Jessie put a bolt on the inside of Sam's closet too? That means it gets really violent behind closed doors. Rick looks like he's going to take care of it all, no doubt about that. I think Michonne's whack upside the head was a way to save him. As much as she wants to stay in Alexandria, she needs to keep Rick's temper under control.

Sasha is so broken nowadays. She really did leave the town on her own terms afterall. I guess nobody else could've stopped her, but at the same time I don't know why she's going about survival this way. Michonne behaved like she was brought back down to her roots when she was alone when we first met her. Rosita doesn't look like she understands what Sasha is talking about, but she definitely understands since Noah died and now Tara is fighting to live.

Norman looks like he's getting closer to finding stuff out. I'm glad he was able to let some of his walls down and give Eric's boyfriend a chance. What is the "W" on the people's heads for? And who is tying them up to the trees to die and rot?!

I'm excited we have one episode left next week! It looks like it will end on a high note, and I'm glad the season is going to close off well =)

I'm glad with this change in Maleficent's backstory! Having her pregnant right before Regina casted the curse on the Enchanted Forest is an excellent opener to her reasons of anger. Snow looks vengeful but protective of her family for the time being. Glad the writers were creative with this storyline! I thought that at first Snow/Mary-Margaret and David committed bad magic to save the kingdom, but baby-for-baby makes more sense. It will be interesting to see what Maleficent wants to do in Storybrooke, especially since she's wedged between the heroes and villains.

Colin O'Donoghue is a great actor! He played Rumplestilskin's character very well in his own skin. It's interesting Rumplestilskin decided on THAT character to impersonate just to get close to Belle and the dagger. I wonder if he will do it again, but that will mean Killian will take a step back in being present around Storybrooke.

The Walking Dead 5.14 Spend
I can't get over what Glenn and Rick are going through, so that's what my entire review will center upon.

Glenn witnessed the true colours of the cowards that fight for Alexandria. All selfish and leave their own behind. This is what separates themselves from Rick's group. There's an actual bond, real relationships formed, between the group. They always stand up for each other by any means necessary. They're also logical, not like the folks in Alexandria. As much as congresswoman wants a community built on trust, it's not happening with all these holes found within the characters.

Now to Rick's surprise visit from creepy husband Paul. You don't bring up somebody's dead wife with alcohol in hand, just a big NO! After Rick let him out and started fiddling with his wedding ring =( Of course he's hurt by Lori's death, but he ain't broken! Rick had to fight to get to where he is. If not for himself, for Carl, Judith and the sake of the group's survival. Without a doubt, he's devoted. Carol finding out Paul is abusing his wife and son is huge game changer. This will be the start of something big if Rick decides to take control of Alexandria.

Two episodes left and I can only imagine more action to come! Sad Noah got killed off this soon, but I saw his leg as a setback from moving quickly with the rest of the group. I wonder if Glenn will bring up the fighter's cowardice to Rick (I'm sure he will).

I don't think Sasha is "losing it," rather she's gradually slipping away. She wants to fall back into the way the group survived together before Alexandria happened. Trust is earned and I can tell between certain characters, it's turning into an Us VS Them situation (once again).

Buttons that poor horse! I'm glad the horse got to survive this long without getting infected, but it got mauled in a horrible death. I am glad the boyfriends are nice to Daryl and have taken him in to get comfortable. He doesn't want to carry weapons anymore! He feels some of the people to be genuine and wants to try out trusting these people.

Why do I get a weird feeling from the husband Pete? HE'S SO CREEPY! I'm not sure if he can be trusted, especially since Rick wants to get close to his wife.

"I got nothing else to do," was the EXACT same response in season two when Carol thanks Daryl for going out looking for Sophia everyday.

I couldn't stop laughing at Carol's threat against the little boy haha You want cookies or you want to get tied to a tree for the zombies to come get you? Hilarious of course.

The inside of Alexandria looks like a calmer version of Woodbury. The governor had a fake setup where he would intimidate and brainwash his community into staying. Here, we see a female leader for once who is actually putting all her cards out on the table. At least she isn't showing any motive or keeping things away.

She's definitely a congresswoman if she is putting all the children and families first. This could turn out interesting for the group. I can't believe they finally have clean water! This makes a major change in everybody's life.

I kind of enjoyed the video taped interview styles of each character. When you see how they behave alone, they're still a family unit.

I hope this location isn't just a front for some crazy cannibalistic cult who have barbaric fights to the death against brothers =/ If this series is going to see a proper end in the next two years, I'd like for them to have some stability.

There's a select few townspeople that act suspicious already. The lady who helped cut Rick's hair... her husband is creep #1. He sits on his porch in the middle of the night like as if it's normal. Don't trust him. Idiot supply runner who got an ass-whooping from Glenn & Daryl; he's creep #2. Another scene, which a friend of mine pointed out to me, was Rick already doesn't trust anybody at Alexandria (why would he?) because his smuggled gun in the hidden blender is already missing. I hope Morgan actually comes back guns blazing sometime soon, he can't be too far. He's also been making it on foot on his own!

Lastly, I'm pleased with Rick reassuring Daryl and Carol for the ending scene. If it turns out the people in the place don't work out, they'll take over and run it themselves. I like this plan much better than anything else. This way, they know not to get too comfortable or become 'weak'.

I don't know if this guy is who he says he is. Rick has a right to be cautious, but of course as an audience we take the group's POV. It's good to add more people in, especially since people are surviving somehow in various locations.

Looks like Maggie and Sasha are in a trustworthy mood. I'd keep my guard up no matter what, but after what the whole group has endured, I feel they've endured way too much

"Just because we're good people, doesn't mean we won't kill you." Such a key statement from Rick I feel will resonate throughout the episode.

WHOA the hoard of walkers impounding the car, makes me question if that was a planned trap! The way the stranger answered Rick's three questions from Michonne... makes you 50/50 on your faith in him.

My stomach jumped a bit when Glenn was showing off his knowledge from Dale on the RV. I am so happy we got some real action and excitement out of this. I also completely forgot about the priest until the very end.

Sasha and Maggie look like they've reached breaking point. I understand the loss of their siblings brought their mood change, but Beth and Tyreese knew consequences of life and death. It was always survival of the fittest.

Daryl looks like he's trying to control his own pain now with the cigarette burns and straying alone from the group from time to time. I get that everybody is emotional because they keep losing people more than they are finding survivors.

It's insane how the three characters who tried to hold the barn together are the ones with emotional turmoil.

That ending was scary! I think we were all expecting Morgan to be the "friend" who left the water behind, but this clean cut gentleman shows up knowing Rick by name! I want to believe he's associated with Morgan against anything else. Maybe he even found the map left behind at the church where it had Morgan's original note, "The new world is going to need Rick Grimes."

I thought the episode began slowly, but the end with the music box saved it all for me.

With the beginning of this episode, you really thought it was Beth getting buried. Didn't see the group losing another part of the team so soon!

I am sad to see Tyreese go so soon, but he served as a worthy group member. He wasn't always the obvious person to be the aggressive fighter, but he was the loyal one you could rely on. Also, following the prison attack from the governor, I remember he got the toughest job. He was the one separated with Judith, Mika and Lizzie. When Carol came along, Tyreese forgave everything that happened at the prison. It was all survival of the fittest and Tyreese just earned his way through as a permanent character.

The episode was very artistic and gave someone an alternative way to reach their peace. It was something nice and different to see.

I don't know why Glenn is having so many doubts now, but it could mean he is trying to separate himself? Wherever he goes, Maggie will follow. I just don't think he should start having angry thoughts.

Looks like Washington is back on the table! Good thing Michonne brought it back! I also hope Morgan can catch up soon to Rick and the group. He's very close, it's just a matter of time.

Am I the only one who sees the marked symbols on the trees? I thought it had something to so with the cannibals at Terminus. Then I thought maybe it had to do with something the reverend had done with locking people out of the church. I have a lot of ideas, but will have to see how this season goes.

I actually can't believe that ending! Well done for a mid season finale. This first half of season five has offered a lot of action and information for a good season.

Last season, I remembered being bored with the storyline dragging on at the time. Ever since the group got separated after the prison attack, each episode from that point was dedicated to particular groups. I understand the reason was to give more background stories on each character, but it really churned out a slow season. 

I feel this season got it's original vibe back. The timelines kept us guessing with how long Beth has been at the hospital, how long the group has been at the church, how long the priest has been keeping his secrets etc. 

I had an upsetting gut feeling Beth and Maggie wouldn't get their reunion. If it came down to it, either Carol or Beth would go. Carol has been wanting to leave voluntarily whereas Beth wouldn't get her happy ending. 

The way Daryl went in ready to take out Dawn without hesitation – THAT was perfection! It couldn't be Rick to take the kill, but Daryl. He did so much keeping Beth alive and well when they got separated. He also felt responsible for her getting snatched up.

I'm not sure if the final offer at the end was a sincere one. The hospital cops offered plenty of room and resources. Rick trusts no one but his people. Moving his group in with the hospital could have been the game changer. He has baby Judith who needs to be taken care of and a group that can't always keep moving. Then again, Beth got shot before his eyes so all deals are off. Beth shouldn't have shanked Dawn with the scissors; no good came from it. 

I wonder what changes happen come February. The preview showed Michonne expressing her feelings. Maybe she wants to take up that hospital offer? Maybe she's sick of moving around the way they do. Also, what will happen with Eugene now that Washington was a sham this whole time? So many resources and time has been wasted so he could stay alive. It's survival of the fittest at the end of the day, and he was trying his best to survive with the aide of good Samaritans.

Watching Emily Kinney in tonight's Talking Dead episode is so sad. I am a big sop so yes I am crying. She really is attached the character and worked with the cast for 5 seasons long. She really does care about the show as much as the audience; Chris Hardwick couldn't have said it any better.

Whatever the writers choose to do February 2015, I am ready come episode 5.09 :D

Good news is we know everybody actually survived.
Now the bad news is this episode was pretty boring. Even with that ending, I don't care much for new characters coming in thew show.

Carol coming back was my favourite part! How she found Tyreese and those the girls, I will never know. She obviously knows Tyreese doesn't know about her killing Sasha. Then again, all of them are struggling and at the end of their patience to survive. Carol saved him just in time.

The rest of the episode was bland for me. Just another informative, filler episode this season.

Not going to lie, forgot half the stuff that happened at the end. As for the parts I did remember, it's all a matter of who survived with who and where they are now.

Headless Hershel was graphic, but reality. Losing a key member of the group happens, and Michonne is back to her way of surviving with camouflagr before she was introduced in the series.

Carl has grown up so much. Not just the actor, but his character. Learning to live and grow up in a zombie apocalyptic world. He's not living a life worth anything but he's taught to fight and survive.

Rick is breathing weirdly and it sounds like his diaphragm punctured. I'm so confused. This happens when there's a long hiatus in the middle of a show.

I was hoping there would be more of Michonne's past life but I am glad she reunited with Rick and Carl =D

I also can't believe chocolate pudding comes in a giant can in the States =O

What is the Governor's problem? He's honestly wasted the last two episodes (which made me lose interest in the entire first half of this season) on his boring personal journey of finding new people and killing his previous followers. What's the point? He's the person we all hate and loathe. It's a good thing he went away already, thank you Michonne!

Really happy Maggie and Hershel successfully saved Glen's life. I'm sure he will get strong again just like Sasha has. 

Carol did well in the prison by giving the young children a reality check. The world isn't what it used to be and has been survival of the fittest for a long time. She is taking the same role as Shane, who took a stand at the farm and was telling Rick they had to fight. Of course, Shane went too far and his vendetta was personal with Rick. It's a classic  kill or be killed situation, and it's dangerous since it was people versus people.

Not sure who is driving the bus with the survivors, we just saw it go away. I fear it might be one of the rival people since Glen can't even stand straight. It looks like everybody is separated now. Rick is with Carl, Daryl is with Beth, Maggie is with Sasha and Tyreese has the kids. I'm sure Tyreese has Judith as well, despite the bloody car seat. 

If it weren't for Daryl, Carl and Rick, this hour would've been another waste. 

Once Upon a Time 3.07, The Walking Dead 4.05

We finally have a crossover to Storybrooke!

I knew those two characters had to be Jonathan and Michael Darling! It makes a perfect sense with the a) English accents, b) the teddy bear hanging from the rear view mirror and c) manipulation under Peter Pan, who they said upfront they very well knew who they worked for. But now that we know who Peter stole Wendy and holds her captive, what was his motivation? He was always after Henry and formed the lost boys out of those who wanted to come along. Was Wendy supposed to play the mother role but changed her mind to go back home? I'm so confused why the shadow chooses who to take. This is exciting, I have many questions for this plot.

Captain Hook is really a hero in the group. I've said it before and I'll say it again, he's grown so much since we've first met him. Even before knowing his back story with his brother, his purpose and reason to do good has been for Emma and Henry. He's become so selfless and I want him to get back to Storybrooke with everybody else.

I really wonder where Prince Eric is in Storybrooke. Ariel deserves her happy ending already!

The Walking Dead 4.05 Internment
There's a lot going on in the prison, and I don't think anyone addressed the massive hole in the side of the building. We assumed it got sealed up once more people arrived, but I think that's one way intruders and walkers can still enter the place.

I feel the plot really needs to develop. With cutting Carol loose last week, I have complete faith she will return. I am not sure why Rick is so scared of Tyreese's reaction to finding out who killed the other two. I was surprised how Maggie was so on board with Rick's decision but I do understand with regards to a trust pact. You need to trust your people and not have them going off to make decisions without communicating them.

Daryl's reaction can be either one of two extremes: upset the kind of way he was with his Merle OR calm and passive about the entire idea. I could see him in a face off with Tyreese in the near future.

The ending seconds of the episode had me groaning. Do not want to see this character back in the picture!

Once Upon a Time 3.06, The Walking Dead 4.04

The title of the episode is the giveaway. I think Ariel will get more screen time this season considering her role to cross between realms so easily. I am happy with seeing JoAnna Garcia Swisher (Gossip Girl, Are You Afraid of the Dark?) getting the part since I can believe her as a curious and intuitive character. I would think Baelfire/Neal escaped Neverland as a boy with the help of Ariel. Since Neverland is an island surrounded by mermaids and other creatures, I figure Ariel is a good person who wanted to help him escape.

Now I thought Ursula would be an actual character, but instead she stands as a mythical guardian. The enjoyed the animation scene through the mirror. I think it parallels those with magic and those with an actual higher power than those from the Enchanted Forest.

The best part of this episode was that we know we are getting the Storybrooke characters back together.




The Walking Dead 4.04 Indifference
I really DID NOT see that coming! Wow, Carol was the one who did it! She is a totally different person now, and I wish she stayed.

We all understand why she did it, but I have no idea why Rick is choosing Tyreese over Carol. He knows Carol, he went through that traumatic Sophia killing in season two and he's known her from the beginning when he reunited with his family. It's awful to see her "gone" but I am hoping she comes back. I find every part of her has grown into a full fighter like the rest. She's become resourceful, helpful and an all around key person amongst the survival of the fittest.

I wanted Rick to change his mind, but Carol now understands the consequences of acting without discussion.

I was wondering if the look on the zombie by the fence from last week would have something to do with the rest of the season. It makes sense to throw in a flu.  With lack of supplies and decent livestock, some sort of sickness was bound to spread. It's one thing to have the 'disease' set in the immune system, but I think this travels much faster.

Is the Lizzy feeding the rats to the walkers? It would explain why she feels guilty about her father dying. Just my own thought.

Rick makes the hardest decisions through all the sacrifice we see. After all he's done with the group as a leader, people have every right to look to him for guidance. Daryl evidently takes orders from him with devoted appreciation. Also, all the loss they've endured together proves they make most of the hard decisions as a team. Getting rid of the pigs was definitely major since it was a direct source of food for the prison. Then again, making the connection of the flu possibly coming from the bacon is what they got to do to survive.

Next week's episode is looking really good. This season is a huge improvement front the previous. I was sick of the governor and his boring town.

Sunday Fundays!

The Walking Dead 4.01 30 Days Without an Accident

As per my expectations, the season premier for The Walking Dead was informative and less action packed. I like the gradual change and growth within the group. People have a structure to follow where they are able to survive together.

How about Rick when he's on his own? I think it's good to see he's the leader who remains human. He is still emotional, still seeks the advice of those he trusts and still makes mistakes. His scenes in the episode showed his vulnerability and growth as a leader. I absolutely love all of this. I can't wait to see the development of the sheriff this season.

I've got a major question, which I hope gets answered soon if it is something to watch out for. The make up and set department are magnificent, and I've seen a change with a particular zombie at the beginning in front of the prison fence. I noticed the eye sockets were coming out of the face with blood stains on the face. I'm thinking maybe with the lack of food left, are the zombies going to die out on their own? It's my imagination thinking of how the film 28 Weeks Later started with the disease dying from starvation. I pieced the theory together and think it may be a good one if the people don't kill each other as opposed to zombies killing people.

Once Upon a Time 3.03 Quite a Common Fairy

I am such a sucker for the story of Peter Pan in Neverland so I am biased on my love for this season. This back story made season two flow so well into this one. I am very impressed with how they've switched around character peresonas as well.

Everyone is connected at one point and the change in typical character traits works so well. I admire the consistency through out this show with relevant flashbacks and present day (unlike Arrow, the flashbacks are terribly boring). I can't wait to see what the back story for Captain Hook will be. He's already one of my favourite characters and I expect to be surprised since he had a wonderful storyline last season.

Last but not least, Tinkerbell and Robin Hood look like they'll have a greater impact in the coming episodes. Really excited for their stories to really develop.

Both great shows to watch during this Thanksgiving weekend =)
