Once Upon a Time 3.11 Going Home
Finally I have a chance to post about the mid season winter finale! It's been a busy weekend, and the start to the week has been a swirl. One of my good friends is moving away so there's been a big bon voyage for her.

Rumplestilskin finally did something selfless and sacrificed himself for the good of everybody else. I think even though he died in Storybrooke, he may be alive in the Enchanted Forest.

Regina lost the most by finally letting go of all of the anger. She took her revenge out on the people of the enchanted forest and cursed the kingdom to fall under her command. Freeing Henry from her care, the town and all memories just changed the original goal at "happiness". Everybody else can define their own happy ending differently, but Emma's was consistently to have a family. I am sure at the end of the day, Emma will have to remember something. She's the saviour for a reason and will always find a way.

Baelfire confuses me. He was born in the magical world as much as Emma, but he also grew up in New York City. I feel he could have gone with her too, only that defeats the role Captain Hook has in her life.

Now on to Captain Hook! I know he isn't from the Enchanted Forest, he was actually in the English military before arriving to Neverland. It kind of explains how he can get to New York no problem, but he was able to retain his memories!

The preview for March 9 looks fantastic! We get to see the Wicked Witch of the East in the Enchanted Forest! It looks like she took over while the Evil Queen left for Storybrooke. I am excited the first part of this season opened and closed with Peter Pan appropriately. It was timed perfectly with no loose ends left behind. My guess is the second half of the season will be partially divided in New York City (which is really downtown Vancouver) and the Wicked Witch of the East's back story.

A great season added to this show. Probably the one of two consistent shows this fall (the other being Hostages) =D
