Being Human 4.12, The Following 2.11

Being Human 4.12 House Hunting
I'm scared for the series finale next week!! I appreciate how this episode tied in with how the BBC UK version of Being Human ended up with their final season. They had Satan following the around and putting them in alternate realities. They all knew it was fake and could live off peacefully as humanly possible. The downfall was, they knew it wasn't "home" without each other. In tonight's episode, they all got one-on-one spotlights with people from their past. They were quick because they had to fit in Nora and Josh's sister, but still all had the same concept. Romona wanted them all to end their lives to be trapped in the house permanently.

Kenny storming back into the house to kill Aidan was such a powerful scene. It takes me back to when Aidan had Bishop haunting him earlier in the series. Bishop warns Aidan along the lines of, "He will kill you, the son always kills his father," with regards to how Aidan killed Bishop. BUT, there is an exception to this rule since Aidan has outlived three of his sons (little Isaac, Henry and Kenny). He broke the cycle and is the survivor going against the son kills father theory.

From the start, Romona was BATSHIT! She wanted to keep them all to herself so she wouldn't be alone. Her soul is distraught and unwell because of her death circumstances. Still though, she killed her sister Beatrice! She was also able to manipulate Kenny's final words to Aidan (still can't believe that ending). Aidan now thinks Sally is dead and can't see her in the background by the staircase. I also don't think Aidan kills Josh in that final scene. I think Josh's wolf comes out and stops him. SO MANY THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS!

The Following 2.11 Freedom
Ryan Hardy can't catch a break. I was wondering where his niece was the entire time (I miss her already).

A hospital break in is pretty intense, these people are insane. I think they're worst than the Corbin cult because these folks are ready to die on the spot.

Looks like Lily is trying to be a real baddy and take attention away from Joe with staging her own followers. They act out like this and succeeded. I'm surprised, I thought their plan would fall through to get Luke out of the hospital. Now that Luke escaped to join his twin brother and deranged mother, they'll probably set up next week's episode well.

I didn't think they'd reintroduce Claire to Ryan so soon. The look on his face is so distraught. He's finally moved on and is trying at a better life while still doing his job. At last, he quit putting his personal life on hold and moved forward. Mike looks so apologetic once he saw the special agents at the door. I don't think Ryan would take it out on him, it was for protection this whole time. It explains why Mike was hurting when he saw Ryan drinking himself into oblivion months after Claire's "death".

I didn't think Mandy would run away. She was pulling away slowly once Joe and Emma were trying to recruit the cult and kill for no reason. She started to think for herself and I guess she wanted that welcomed, family feeling and thought of Lily. Bad move in my opinion. Emma will probably hunt her down once she knows where she is. Evidently, Emma is more violent then Joe; Joe just orchestrates and gets blood on everybody else.

Being Human 4.10, The Following 2.09

Being Human 4.10 Oh Don't You Die for Me
Josh needs to tread lightly. I do not trust this pack, and they're totally going to turn on him. He needs Nora back in his life. He made a mistake last time, but I think Nora is his balance. She can be his balance, but I don't think she should be the reason to "fix him". She chased him in the woods for three months with Aidan trying to tame his wolf. First he's a reversed wolf, now he's a wolf on cue. It's dangerous and he probably wants out more than ever.

I can't believe Sally body jumped for Aidan! Now that she is dying out on the couch, Aidan admits he will do anything for her. It's a good thing Nora told him about Sally travelling to the past and being happy with Aidan in their alternate reality. Now he will surely do whatever it takes to save her! Oh yes and Aidan also killed Suzanna for Kenny; this can work!

I am really going to miss this show when it's over. It's a shame it didn't get picked up for another season.

The Following 2.09 Unmasked
Joe is alive and the whole world knows. Claire is alive and only Mike and witness protection knows. I know nothing, I did not see that coming!

First with Joe and his minions. He accomplished to kill the crazy cult couple leaders at last. I was sick of them, but looks like Joe stole the followers to create a new band of people to manipulate.

I can't believe how crazy Jana is. Agent Mendez had a basket case on her hands. She should have stayed 3 steps ahead though once Ryan falsely accused her of being the FBI mole. As soon as she saw Jana having a bit of an episode in the garage, she was too late. Ryan and Mike are quick on their feet. They're getting a lot closer to Joe, but seem to be falling behind when Jana was in the mix. Now they can finally get somewhere without her around.

Okay so Claire is alive and where has she been all season?! Is she separated from Joey? Does keeping them apart keep them safe? The world thinks Claire is dead, and Ryan is going to flip out once he knows. I have a feeling this is Mike's first time finding out. That ending didn't seem like he knew what was going on (they put a bag on his head so he wouldn't know where they were driving to), only that he was under orders on where to go. At least Mike is somebody Ryan can trust. I wonder what Claire has to say now.

Such a good show, I love Kevin Bacon!

Being Human 4.08 Rewind, Rewind...

Being Human 4.08 Rewind, Rewind...
I'M SO SAD THIS SHOW GOT THE BOOT!!

It's the worst feeling when the television shows you watch get the axe. I put a lot of interest into this show and absolutely love the characters in it.

This was an excellent episode showing Sally redoing scenarios from the past. Of course just like everything else, changing fate has consequences. I like how they showed what it's like for her to have a relationship with Aidan. Portraying this possibility is what actually happens in the UK version. Another change was Sally saving Nora, and instead getting scratched by Josh. No matter what, Josh was meant to scratch someone with his wolf curse that night. It was unavoidable, but another reason why changing the past has it's consequences.

In the end, Sally gets hurt and bleeds on the concrete from her bashed head. Aidan looks like he's really in love with Sally, but has his vampire urges giving way from his humanity. I don't know if Sally's ghost self can get out of this realm, but it makes me wonder what is really happening in present day.

If so much time has passed (nearly a year considering the timeline is going in 3 to 6 months forward), how is everything with present day Aidan, Josh and Nora without Sally around? She really makes a difference in everything, but with the wolf pack, Aidan touching base with Kenny and the witchcraft, who knows how much has changed without Sally.

Looking forward to next Monday. Even though this show is ending, I will see it to the end!

Being Human 4.06 Cheater of the Pack

Being Human 4.06 Cheater of the Pack
Poor Josh. He feels guilty for cheating but it's not his fault with his wolf side taking over. It's not much of an excuse, but he's the nice one who will always be so hard on himself.

Mark the wolf pack leader is CRAZY. I don't understand why his temper is that of a real wolf, but he doesn't know anything. Nora found out in the worst way possible way; through somebody else. She fears Josh now because he can't control his inner wolf anymore. He's lying to himself on whether or not he is in control most of the time. On the other hand, his human is aching on the inside trying to conform back to normality.

I can't believe Aidan is trying to cleanse himself. I admire him for trying to follow through, but Suzanna isn't the best person to help. She's part of his past and knows his weakness. Some may think this is a good idea but the will be the downfall of each other. I'm happy Suzanna told the truth about Isaac. If she carried out her lie that Isaac died healthy and of old age, that would make her a hypocrite for not addressing her mistakes.

I didn't think Robbie would die! It was annoying for him to get back to Who controlled the water to electrocute him? I think it was Sally but she was off in the other time periods. Maybe it was the little girl from the 70's who did it? I'm confused, can't wait until next weekend though!

Being Human 4.05 Pack It Up, Pack It In

Being Human 4.05 Pack It Up, Pack It In
I was expecting this reaction from Kat. She'd absorb it as a joke and soon have a freak out after he explains to her how serious he really is. Aidan really tried though! He wanted to make this relationship work, unlike how the other one fell apart. He really fought for Kat this time around because she was Nora's friend. Nora didn't like the first idea of the both of them, but suddenly warmed up to the idea as soon as Aidan proved he was in it for the long run.

I'm with Josh, do not trust this Mark character. He is totally overruling Josh with this alpha male demeanor, I wonder if he is the "leader" of their pack of wolves. Obviously he is judging vampires as a whole, but to be a jerk in Josh's house had nothing to do with him realizing a vampire lived under the same roof.

I couldn't stop laughing at Aidan and Kenny walking in and making their dance party entrance. Just the right amount of comic relief needed!

Sally looks like she can't control her powers anymore. I think she won't get stuck in a time period, but more on a plane parallel to present time. Kind of like how she started out at the start of the season, but an alternative reality. I wonder how much longer this will happen to her, it looks like she keeps slipping up.

I didn't think Josh and Nora would join the pack, but I guess it will give them a sense of belonging with their own werewolf species. Eventually, I think it will turn into the same situation as previous seasons where Josh and Nora see that it doesn't work. Josh can also control his wolf now, so it's different this time around. I just wonder what this change will bring.
