The Night Shift 2.04 Shock to the Heart
May have to always separate these posts from The Following and Bates Motel reviews, since these are more realistic and less morbid.
I'm so happy Paul stood up for his patient. Date-rape is a serious crime, yet we see so many victims ashamed of the incident and coming forward. It's good they portrayed this in a setting where the girl had no control and in no way was at fault. She attended a party with one of her girlfriends and later was taken advantage of. Paul went wild on her jackass of a friend, but he had every right to. Very rarely is something done to justify a victim's rights. It's about time Paul became the voice for somebody who couldn't speak up in time.
Jordan and T.C. look like they're in a good place. Getting the dog was a sweet gesture from T.C.'s side! Now they can have a full and happy home.
I see Krista distancing herself from Kenny. I know their relationship is really new, and they didn't even date at the end of first season, so it's easy not to get attached to them. Joey appears to be emotionally different then Kenny, but neither of them are bad guys. Joey happens to be more in touch with positive energy and yoga. Kenny wants to get closer to Krista, but it's not working out in his favour.
Ragosa is kicking more ass! I feel bad for Drew's personal life, but it was going to come sooner or later. I thought if his partner didn't want to leave, Drew would be the one to pull the plug on the relationship. It's probably another reason why Krista is feeling bad about being in the middle of it. I'm sure he isn't going to do anything wrong, but hope he can get back to being in Ragosa's corner for doing well in the hospital.
Ragosa outdone himself and stepped it up investigating the family's vehicle and work conditions. I like him better on the same level as Topher and the rest of the team.
